And yet if people would have worn a mask, washed their hands, and had some intelligence, it would have been a few months instead of the whole year. Small businesses closed, people are out of work, billions lost, all because people don’t want to have to do anything different. They can’t be bothered. “Change” is just too much for them, even if it is temporary. The American public is the reason for everything you state. The virus is very real, deadly, and not just the seasonal flu. If people could have been bothered to D up in March and April, instead of denying it, wishing it away, “no big deal” etc, the nation would have been a lot better off.

And that amount of people would be a fraction of the actual amount. But again, people cannot be bothered, not even to save lives.

There is no possible way for anyone to isolate themselves from it unless you are on an island somewhere or someplace remote enough where nobody else is around. The problem is that people do not really fully understand how things are spread.

Now this is getting really silly. I can’t believe you typed that last response.
They didn’t get it all year prior. Aunt, her best friend, and cousin, went to a particular casino. And all 3 of them got it, and my aunt spread it to her husband. It’s not rocket science. After casino event, each went home, and got sick. Ain’t the same mailman, FedEx or UPS, or Amazon driver because they all live in 3 different geographic foot prints.

This is like women talking.

I do not have your courage to say what you have said here. Just know that I agreed with your previous post, publicly. Thank you for saying what you are saying here.

It's not courageous to be brainwashed by the mass media and close-minded to facts and actual science. Nor is it courageous to post a crude rant against those with a differing position who do not buy into the hysteria being being pushed by the majority of the media outlets.

If masks were truly the salvation we're being told they are then our overlords and masters who command us to wear them would diligently adhere to their own mandates. Instead they are caught time and again ignoring the very regulations they admonish others to regard.

I know better, but sometimes you gotta say, wtf.

Lock downs happened first in Florida. March 13 is when schools were closed and remained closed until August. The talk about masks at the time, was the N95 masks or better might help, but they needed to be saved for the doctors, nurses, EMTs, etc that needed them. Instead, hand washing, not touching your face, and social distancing were being encouraged.

I'm not sure where the idea that if people had worn masks, the lock downs wouldn't have occurred is coming from.

I'll stop right there because clearly I'm too fucking stupid to have spent some of my newly found free time during the lock down to research, read, and comprehend whatever scientific studies I could find on the effectiveness of wearing masks to prevent the transmission of respiratory viruses. Obviously, I'm incapable of assessing the risks to myself and my family while forming a thoughtful, informed, and intelligent decision as to what additional steps we need to take, if any, to protect ourselves and others from SARS-coV-2.

I yield to your superior superiorness. And yes, if it makes you feel better, your collective penises are bigger than mine. I think you know what you can do with them.

Almost 60% of the people that have died in the US from Covid are >75 years old!

That number is way off. Mid December is was at 22 percent 74 +

Mr. Cruise was going off on a couple of employees for ? standing too close ? to one another. Well if those are the rules on the set, and the employees broke the rules, then a talking to, a rant, or a firing are all valid options the producer (Mr. Cruise) can exercise.

On a related note, on 24 SEP 2020 film producer Jerry Bruckheimer and actor Tom Cruise became Honorary Naval Aviators. The U.S. Navy press release link is below.

The real USN officers that I have worked with did at times swear and use rough language, but only in extreme situations. Perhaps such language is useful to drive home a point. I try to use such language very sparingly.

Your thoughtful assessment for you and your family is fine, and you have to do what you feel is necessary. Others have done the same and have come to different conclusions based on data and science. Take whatever precaution you need, as is your right, but you are wrong to be belligerent to others who don't follow your path when there is just as much evidence on their side that you are as wrong as you think they are.
