Interestingly, the thread title has the answer. Tom Cruise; Whinedown. Russell Crowe in Unhinged; now that's a Meltdown!

I haven't been able to see a Cruise movie, even had I wanted to, unless alone ever since he had his Oprah appearance. Deniseair not a fan before that, adamantly opposed after.

One adult to another, that's how you would speak to him? For not wearing a mask? He's straight out of Tropic Thunder in that clip. This is not rational behavior. And if you think it is, it's clear this pandemic is doing more harm to the mind than the virus is doing to the body.

The same thing could have been accomplished at adult volume instead of ear singeing screeching. In fact, saying the same thing at low volume would allow him to do it with less people walking away thinking “what a douchebag”. He’s a good actor no doubt, but also a douchebag.

Spot on, I don't care how much money he has on the line, he has no right to talk to people like that. I'm a pretty calm guy but I'd have been in his face trying to keep myself from wringing his neck. I don't allow anyone to talk to me like that nor do I talk to anyone like that. Maybe some people regularly treat their employees like that or are so spineless that they allow their employer to treat them like that but no amount of money is worth it to me. I am not someone's dog and I'll never be treated like that. I also would not stand by and watch someone treat someone else like that.

Covid is a farce and anyone who thinks covid makes this acceptable needs to seriously examine their outlook. FYI my dad died in May from covid as did my aunt and that doesn't change my opinion on covid in the least.

Let me add one thing, I can handle people yelling at me, that doesn’t bother me. I do not tolerate people cussing at me or talking down to me. I had to take that in the military but I do not anymore nor will I. i expect people to treat me the way I treat them and I am too old to be treated like a child.

Maybe a little unprofessional, but he got the point across. And he's absolutely right. It's not all about those on the set, and their convenience or opinions. There's a lot of folks depending on them. I don't believe for a second that passion is out of concern for his own money. He's concerned for those he mentions in my judgement.

Oh, good grief. This is scripted nonsense, but it's clear the hoax is having the desired effect. Personal liberty is a thing of the past...there will always be some transmittable cootie that we can use as a control agent.

If any business collapses because of this Hollywood would be my first choice.
