Democrats are foul, despicable beings.

Pelosi doesn't rule out using impeachment as option to stop Trump Supreme Court pick

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Sunday would not rule out impeachment as an option to stop President Trump’s U.S. Supreme Court pick from being confirmed to the bench, saying Democrats will “use every arrow in our quiver” to block the eventual nominee.

Just hours after it was announced that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had passed away on Friday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., vowed that a Trump nominee to the Supreme Court to fill her vacancy “will receive a vote on the floor of the United States Senate.”

During an interview on ABC News’ “This Week,” Pelosi, D-Calif., was asked whether she and House Democrats would move to impeach the president, or Attorney General Bill Barr in an effort to prevent the Senate from acting.

“We have our options. We have arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss right now but the fact is we have a big challenge in our country,” Pelosi said. “This president has threatened to not even accept the results of the election.”

She added: “Our main goal would be to protect the integrity of the election as we protect the people from the coronavirus.”

Pelosi was pressed again on whether she would employ impeachment tactics, to which she said the Constitution requires that Congress “use every arrow in our quiver.”

“We have a responsibility,” Pelosi said. “We take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. We have a responsibility to meet the needs of the American people.”

She added: “When we weigh the equities of protecting our democracy, it requires us to use every arrow in our quiver.”

Do you guys want a repeat of the Kavanaugh hearings travesty? Wake up. We have to deny the Democrats the ability to treat the appointee that way. Things are rarely black and white.

I trust President Trump.

I think Barret is the obvious choice from what bit I know of her and I hope Trump announces his pick in the next few days (if not tomorrow).
Secondly...what the hell does that bitch Pelosi think she can impeach him over now??? Even if she begins the attempt, that does not stop the Senate from confirming a new judge. I am so sick of her and i go will take a dump on her grave the day she is buried and i pray that day comes very soon.

I thoroughly agree. Not only do we not want the candidate treated so brutally, it would stretch out the proceedings until after the Election, and we don't want that, either.

I hope Pelosi goes for another impeachment. The House has zero say in judicial nominations. And the Senate will ignore any impeachment the House sends them while they're busy with the next SCOTUS justice confirmation hearings. Let the House Dems remind Americans how insane and evil they really are and just in time for people to go vote in all those down ballot races with Trump at the top of the ticket.

Desperation is a stinky cologne! This is a beautiful time watching these idiots melt down. Trump knows what he is doing and has proven time and time again to be playing chess vs. their game of checkers. The winning tastes so good.

It is doubtful McConnell is even there.

And each time Pelosi opens her trap, an independent voter in FL or NC decides to vote Trump. I think we need to give more air time to her, AOC, and Bernie between now and November.

Good times.

Wouldn't it be awesome if President Trump ends up replacing Breyer during his second term?

That would be 3 in his 8 years in office. Fucking magnificent.

Absolutely. Please, Nancy, "impeach" Trump for exercising the power invested in him by the Constitution.

The thing I love most about Trump is that he makes these idiots so crazy that they defeat themselves.

Thomas has hinted at retirement and may do it during a second Trump term so the President could appoint a younger justice. That would make five, a majority of the court, appointed by trump. This is why liberal heads are exploding.

We HAVE to get this through before the election and let Trump continue to show we can break the cycle of letting the Dems off the hook and ultimately letting them win because we want to perceived as the "nice guys".
