I've said it before and I'll say it again, Repub's should confirm a new SCOTUS judge now, and when Trump wins in November and the Repub's keep the Senate, the senate majority leader should take Collins, Murkowski, and Romney and remove 'all' of their committee assignments. Put them on the bench and make it understood they will have no influence in the senate from here on out. I'm sick of this garbage, and they need to pay a price for their pettiness and cowardice.

She said she believes the nomination should wait until after Jan. 2021, but that doesn't necessarily mean that she won't ultimately vote yes to confirm if the vote comes up beforehand.

After all, she didn't say she would vote no; only that she thinks it should wait. Seriously, how could she justify voting no to confirm a perfectly qualified, female judge?
Hmmm, would I rather have a new confirmed conservative SCOTUS judge sitting on the court in October 2020, or Collins sitting in the senate in 2021? No contest.

Exactly. RBG has no one to blame but herself for the fact that she will be replaced by President Trump (thank God).
She had her chance during Obama's 2nd term to bow out gracefully, but nooo.

Fuck the Leftists and their anti-American views.
Get it done, Mr. President.

Drinks last night, steak and eggs for breakfast and hours on end of internet entertainment.

Great weekend so far!

On of my FB groups had some cry babies responding to the celebratory posts as being “tasteless” and “too soon”.

So in reply, here is my contribution to the internet...

My thought as well: “Yeah, I’ll hold off for another year or so and then she can appoint another she.” It would have been interesting to know what she thought when the election results were announced. What’s that expression? “Oy …”?

I agree with Balzé Halzé: Collins will do whatever she thinks helps her own re-election.
If she thinks enough conservatives will turn against her if she votes NO, she will vote YES.

The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

To be honest, there is no way to know if bader ever said that. . . Just as likely, it is a blatant democrat lie intended to sway public opinion against President Trump. . .

Wild and woolly. I'll post more in the other thread when I can. I'm now outside of Memphis, TN at my daughter and son-in-law's house.
