Just to give closure to this thread...

This AD was very helpful. Sent me texts every week or so just to stay in touch.

I received my watch last week. It is stunning. I know a DateJust is a bit boring but it is an all arounder. I can wear it to work, on the weekend, going out to dinner, etc.

I really love the movement. Probably the absolute best at this price point.

I told my wife that I'd like to be able to afford a higher end watch when I turn 50 in a few years. Might not necessarily buy a watch but just want to be in the position to do so.

I was thinking Omega as they appeal to me.
