That's what I said about OJ. Besides, we are talking about Cook County, the same County or City that CONSISTENTLY elects and re-elects scum. I've had a little saying for years now. Never, ever underestimate the stupidity of the average Cook County voter. Those same voters are also jurors. One never knows here.

I don't know Bulldog, Judge Lynn is pretty good, and doesn't put up with much bullshit in his room. After work, he's a pretty funny guy...
But then again, this is Cook Co.

With stories that Unbelievable Funny, you need to provide a link.

Smollett said he met Abimbola Osundairo in 2017 at a club, where he learned Osundairo also worked on the set of “Empire.”
He said the two men did drugs together and went to a bathhouse, where Smollett said they “made out.”
Over time, he said the two men did more drugs together and participated in sex acts together. Osundairo testified last week that he and Smollett didn’t have a sexual relationship.

Jussie Smollett testified that he met Abimbola’s brother, Olabingo, but that they didn’t speak and “he kind of freaked me out.”
He said Abimbola Osundairo made it seem like the men needed to “sneak off” when they were together around his brother.

Ge, I wonder who's the bear and who's the twink? Wink

I agree, he's a good guy. Been before him many times. It's the jury that worries me.

What a total piece of shit Roll Eyes

From Twitter:

quote:

Smollett interrupts special prosecutor Dan Webb as Webb was reading aloud one of Smollett's messages that had N word in it.

Smollett: can you spell or say the N word out of respect for every African American in this room? you've been saying that word a lot.

Webb: I don't intend to do that sir.. you can read your messages aloud.

Smollett then reads his own message

I've never understood this hypocrisy. Is the word offensive or does it depend on who's saying it? The word is used heavily in rap music and day to day conversation among the black community. However, if Dr. Laura uses it in the context of discussing the impact of the N word, she gets fired from radio?

Yyyyyyup! It's called a "Double Standard".

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

As I understand it, they want to own the word. That means they get to say who may use it. If someone uses it unauthorized, then there will be painful consequences. This perspective is inherently hypocritical and anti liberty. They are offended that their ancestors’ liberty was seized but wish to seize liberty in their name. Same goes for racial prejudice, discrimination, bigotry, persecution, segregation etc. I’ve come to understand that they were not opposed to Jim Crow laws. They were opposed to being on the short side of them. They’d gladly place white people under that yoke and worse while calling it justifiable retribution.

So does he get riots if convicted? He's gay and black so although a millionaire and obviously guilty, he's still being screwed by the man because of his intersectionality or some shit.

Unfortunately, yes. I was reading comments from a local TV station that was posting about this case. Apparently they (POS CNN watchers, oxygen thieves) want to know why Jussie is being picked on after Kyle R was found not guilty. Somehow it's related Frown

The jury apparently deliberated for two hours before the judge sent them home for the day. Two hours should have been an hour and half more than they needed to reach a verdict.
