lbj, when my wife had her double mastectomy the recovery was indeed one day at a time. We live very near the Cherry Creek Mall and I made a habit to take Ann there every morning to walk. Progress was measured in increments on a day by day basis.I made sure that she had nutritious meals, hydrated her self and the aforementioned exercise. If I can be of help please let me know. Think of a determined tortis not the hare. | |||

Thanks for checking in. I have been on morphine for pain and have been laying around recovering. When my head clears up, I will post about the hospital stay and things. On the the 16th of February, I will have my first visit with the oncologist and will know more about treatment possibilities. Copious amounts of dilaudids. I don't need them at this point and the prescriptions have run out. They did put me down for the count though. My energy levels suck right now, and at 5ft11, I am weighing in at 159lbs.
