Sometimes I talk to myself out loud, kind of a bad habit or worse.

I haven't felt well the last couple of days.
That thought crossed my mind again just now and I muttered:
"I hope I'm not getting sick."

Wait, what?

Thanks, prayers have been of immense help.

The court approved the adoption of my younger daughter so it's official.

Praise God!

After almost 8 years, the county required me to get an emissions test on my 2012 Shelby American.
I had been dreading this moment.

I don't think I've driven 100 miles on the Mustang these last 2 years.
It's a part of my old life and not important in my new life like it had been.
Anyhow, the fuel in the car was at least a year old, maybe even a year and a half.

I took it out several times last week t burn the old fuel off and refill with new.

Today it went in for testing and the staff was pretty good I must say. They measured the distance from the ground to the exhaust to make sure it would clear entry to the dyno.

I did wait for a hot day and it was 97 when I took it in.
It passed, very surprising.
I guess Shelby American told me the truth that it was 50 state emission compliant.
Good thing too.

HC GPM 0.0573 Allowed: 1.2000
CO GPM 0.3700 Allowed: 15.000
NOx GPM 0.2780 Allowed: 1.500

Not bad for a 585RWHP machine.

And here I am, such a good citizen. Ha!

I dunno, I've just had this feeling for a long time that there was no way it pass.

Hmmm, a smaller diameter SC pulley is cheap and easy. In my old life that is.

Scan time, of me I mean.
Next week I think.

Things have gone so well so far and God watches over me, so come what may, good or bad.

Hopefully your scan comes out as good as the Shelby. Although it sounds rather complicated instead of just having the OBDII port scan.

The results of my scan we OK but not perfect.
Plus, I've had scans like this before and everything went well on the next scan.
The doc says they see a new spot on my right lower lung but that everything else is holding steady and not advancing.

The next scan may show the new spot gone or not.
Nothing to do but wait.
In any case, it'd take a year to kill me if things start raging so I have another year of life left at the worst.
That's a good thing.

Praise God!

I pray that your next scan comes out great. I have followed this thread for a couple years, but I haven’t said much until late, in any thread. I have rejoiced your happiness over many things. As I said, you and your family will be in my, and Mrs. Cookers prayers tonight, and from here on.

I wake up more often than not, 2.5 hours ahead of the alarm, worried about dying. I guess it’s that point in my life. I hope it passes soon.
