The camera was a bit kind, but still.

I still have the stage 4 renal clear cell carcinoma, it's kinda everywhere except the brain and bones.
However, most everything has stayed in place and is being held in check.

There were a few bumps along the way as this thread can attest to.
Plus a few more to come I think.
Kind of expected.

Around the UCHealth place I go, I am seen as a walking miracle of sorts by many.

The oncologist, pulmunary doc, heart doc, infusion center and exercise classes are all in the same location.

Plus my church is only 10 minutes away.

That new 2019 Ford Escape I got last November only has 3700 miles on it.

And yes, I'm doing a lot of living.

Here's something I found interesting.

My maximum height in my lifetime is/was 6 feet even.
They measured my height last Friday at 5 feet 11.8 inches.

I'm 64, I was sure I'd shrink more by this age but it hasn't really happened yet.

For Fathers Day, younger daughter asked me to adopt her and presented the paperwork for the court for us to fill out and begin the process.

What a great gift.

God sure poured forth a gigantic blessing here!

I still have the Mustang but cannot remember the last time I drove it.
My priorities have changed.

As far as the adoption, it will be an adult adoption because younger daughter is now almost 28 years old.

I didn't think adoption was possible at her age but the paperwork says otherwise.

It's quite an honor.
I am still in a little bit of shock over it, a good kind of shock.

However, this does fit with the natural evolution of our relationship.

This will make Miles my legally official grandson too.

That is really cool, that piece of paper means a lot and is one heck of a fathers day present.

The Edge, is it the ST? I just got a fusion with the 2.7 TT in it, it's a blast to drive.

2019 Escape Titanium with Livernois tune.
I'm right at 300hp on this 2.0L and it's pretty quick and gets 23mpg lifetime average with 4K miles.

I'm waiting to Tune mine until it's out of warranty. Tune alone supposed to get the 2.7 to 400hp. Intercooler and a few other little things can get you 430+ hp and low 13s 1/4 mi out of a family sedan.

Enjoy it. You gave the 2017 to your daughter right?

Yes, older daughter got the 2017.

HP is crazy with these new engines anymore.
I didn't want to wait until mine was out of warranty.
Just in case, you know?
