Several years ago Wisconsin "liberalized" its welfare policies, drawing in a whole new world of Chicagoans from just down the road. So guess what, Orlandis, you and yours HAVE been given quite a bit and it's gone on for a long time.

I was up at 0400hrs killing time and turned on the local Durham/Raleigh news. They were they were discussing the RNC in Charlotte NC and Pres. Trump visiting.

Charlotte Meck PD posted a message that the protests have started, and large groups of individuals are blocking roads and not allowing cars or buses too pass. Two people have been arrested and a couple of Officers have minor injuries.

This is another blue city that will blame President Trump for all the chaos and damage that will ensue from the "peaceful" protests.

I wonder if the Charlotte City Council/Government will hold the police back or have them control the protesters.

Every Officer is on duty, and I feel for everyone of them because this is a city government that will throw them under the bus at the slightest inconvenience.

I imagine Chongosuerte will be on duty in some fashion hopefully away from the chaos.

I miss working Investigations at the Medical Examiners Office but this week I am glad that I am not there.

I have believed the same thing going all the way back to the MB incident here in St. Louis. The government can not stop these types. The only thing that will stop them is when the citizens have had enough and take action themselves.

Plus all them FreiKrops units right after WWI, when Germany could easily have gone communist.

Much of the reason the former western allies turned a 'blind' eye toward German rearmanment in 1933 - was that the Soviet Union was the real threat. Germany was needed to protect the British Empire from the Soviets.

Of course history repeats itself in 1955, on German rearmament.
