The composure of the LASD and LAPD is amazing. I would have lost it and started taking head shots on those scum.

Westchester NY school under fire for cartoon comparing cops to KKK, slave owners

https://nypost.com/2020/09/13/...to-kkk-slave-owners/

A Westchester County high-school teacher kicked off his first day of classes by handing out an image on the Black Lives Matter movement — comparing modern-day cops to slave owners and the Ku Klux Klan.

Westlake HS educator Christoper Moreno gave his 11th-graders a handout Sept. 8 which included a five-frame cartoon panel.

The first three frames show slave owners and a member of the KKK with their knees on the backs of black men in shackles. The KKK member also has a noose around the black man’s neck.

The last two panels depict a sheriff and a police officer each with their knees on the neck of a black man in handcuffs. The black man is saying, “I can’t breath’’ — what black Minneapolis victim George Floyd gasped as his neck was knelt on by white cop Derek Chauvin, sparking ongoing BLM protests across the country.

“My daughter showed me the paper. I said, `What is this?! You’ve got to be kidding me!’ ” said Westlake mom Ania Paternostro. “This cartoon compares the police to the KKK. It’s an attack on the police.”

The mother said she immediately fired off letters of protest to Mount Pleasant School District Superintendent Kurt Kotes and Westlake Principal Keith Schenker, whose school is in the district.

“Enough is enough,” Paternostro told The Post.

“This cartoon is disturbing. We have to respect the men in blue who protect us,” added the mom of two, a native of Poland.

“We don’t need a teacher brainwashing my kids. I’ll teach my kids about what’s right and what’s wrong.”

The controversy comes just weeks after the Wylie Independent School District in Texas pulled an online assignment — which featured the same cartoon — given to eighth graders.

Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott called for the teacher who assigned the lesson to be fired.

Well, I imagine we're at the point where there will be retaliation from the right. It doesn't take much imagination to anticipate some long-range shots being taken.

I still believe in my theory, that in many of these RIOTS...(protests), there are many HS, and college teachers blending in.

Don't believe that's a theory but a fact. We've all known for at least a generation that boards of education and the majority of teaching staffs at schools of all levels are populated by instructors with if not malleable liberal views, extremist and ideological views. Children at the high school level are impressionable, hormones ragging, looking for answers dealing in dealing with emotions, it's very easy for a teacher to plant the seeds of an ideology upon the youth.

Public school teachers are dependent on the state for their livelihood, get paid based on years of service and degree attainment not quality of work, and belong to unions which at their very base have socialist roots.

They are effectively divorced from the real world of market competition, economics, and personal responsibility being an arbiter of success.

College teachers not as much the unions and lack of accountability, but I think a lot of them were otherwise unable to compete in the real world and resent people that are successful in a free market.

Biden's response to LA shooting - Biden pushes gun control less than 24 hours after attempted assassination on deputies . Yeah that's the soultion, punish innocent people for this criminals action. I'm sure that was a legal gun owner that tried to murder those cops. Besides that, it was a pistol used, not a scary black rifle. These people are mentally deranged.

Wish some super wealthy person would up that to....

$100k for info leading to the arrest of

Or

$500k for delivery of the severed head to the nearest PD precinct house.

Something tells me that POS would have already been delivered up (at least the requisite part of him) to the PD.

Oh I’m sure all of the Hollywood celebrities who have been matching donations to accounts set up to pay bail for the rioters will be along any second to match the reward.

Any second now. Yup. Any second.

That video of the shooting isn't clear, but I'm betting that is a kid. Probably a punk trying to get into a gang or get to a higher status in the gang.

Now they're protesting inside stores out here in Seattle. They "occupied" a Trader Joes for "lack of access to grocery stores" and yet, defying all logic, they're doing it inside a grocery store that they've accessed.

Funny, ever since Rittenhouse disarmed an attacker and put two others in the ground, the local news has been progressively quieter about the rioting and nonsense. I guess Don Lemon's concerns about how this was polling were shared by the rest of the American Pravda. I was getting triumphal push notifications from KIRO every time something stupid happened. Haven't gotten one in over a week, maybe close to two now.

The video was funny, but this comment is fucking gold! Big Grin

Man, that connected with a really satisfying THWAP! I don't want to assume its gender, but whatever it is, that baton round must've done a number on whatever arrangement of gonads it hit, man made or natural.

So are some of the comments to that post. My fav so far:
"Lancaster cops are giving out free gender reassignment surgeries tonight.

Pretty charitable if you ask me."
