I'd be willing to bet one of the first things that ran through some of those empty headed democrats when they heard about the shooting was "woo hoo special elections!".

Will be interested to hear what the investigation finds as far as his planning and targeting. Note the date on that NYT story was April 12. The FBI said he had been in Alexandria since late March. On April 4, he joined the YMCA that was literally a couple hundred feet from the field. Maybe he ended up in Alexandria just figuring it was a good place to plan or look for a target of opportunity, and the NYT helped him out with their unnecessarily specific story. Seems like a pretty big coincidence for him to join that particular YMCA, though, so I have to wonder if he had already learned about the practices from some other source prior to the NYT story. _________________________ Their system of ethics, which regards treachery and violence as virtues rather than vices, has produced a code of honour so strange and inconsistent, that it is incomprehensible to a logical mind. -Winston Churchill, writing of the Pashtun

Local reports are that the guy lived out of his van, using the YMCA to shower, and then go on-line. The former mayor of Alexandria had talked with him multiple times; usually involving helping him find work, etc. There is a very good homeless outreach nearby (The Carpenter's Shelter, or so it was a number of years ago). Supposedly he had asked a couple of times about the folks using the field early in the morning... I lived near there for almost 11 years when first having moved to the DC area. Mostly fond memories of that neighborhood. It was primarily retired Govt. employees and blue collar workers (there was a good sized railroad maintenance depot across US 1 from there for many years). Now it's a trendy, yuppie kind of place priced out of my income level.

We might be getting to the point where wearing a MAGA hat, or Trump tee shirt, or even showing an American flag, makes one a target for these violent leftists. http://fox59.com/2017/06/15/se...again-flag-on-i-465/ ______________________________________________________ "You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."

What you defined here can be found in the Dictionary, under Community Organizing. “We’re in a situation where we have put together, and you guys did it for our administration…President Obama’s administration before this. This "getting together" by the parties is nothing but pure BS. Where is a single Dem going out and saying to the left, "enough of this shit!" Instead, not a single one piping up, just as they have not done since DJT became president. Fuck all these lefties, I don't buy their charade for second. Just look at that vermin Pelosi going out less than 24 hours after the attack and blaming the Republicans for going after Slick Willy, who lied under oath.

They got their soundbite and feel good moment though. Did you see the Nancy Pelosi joke the same day as the attack? Explicatives deleted woman, screw her. This is not a laughing matter.

That's exactly what I thought when I was on the treadmill yesterday during that session of Congress and heard that disgusting, vile woman say that. Even when Ryan said, "we are all Americans," or words to that effect, I was thinking, "Really? I beg to differ."

Social media amplifies reactions on one side or the other. What appears to be a lot of people defending his actions is really just a small minority, and most of them are all talk anyway. I'm not saying they shouldn't be taken seriously. There are now numerous examples of how much damage "lone wolves" can do. Law enforcement has a tremendously tough job trying to deal with all of America's domestic enemies, and the lefties giving them free reign makes that job exponentially more difficult. Ticket sales for Thursday’s annual congressional baseball game were higher than nearly every other major league game. A stunning record-setting 24,959 tickets were purchased for the game, according to a report from the New York Times. That’s more attendance than five of the twelve regular major league games played in Chicago, Cleveland, Detriot, Minnesota, and Oakland. The game reportedly raised over $1 million for Congressional Sports for Charity. Last year the event only raised $500,000. The annual game took center stage in media coverage after a former volunteer for Bernie Sanders named James Hodgkinson opened fire during the Republican practice for the game early Wednesday morning. Most everything in DC is done for political show so until I hear reports that democratic leaders have called downline and told their well-known misbehaving supporters to knock this shit off on campuses and in the cities, the one day of toning down the rhetoric means nothing. And they won't do that and so this will continue to escalate.
|
Bad dog! |
Escalation of rhetoric and violence will continue because the Democrats have nothing else. In the past 10 years they have lost a staggering number of political seats on all levels, from local to national. Intellectually, they are bankrupt. The only ideology they could embrace that is consistent with their actions would be communism, which they can't publicly endorse because everyone knows communism does not work. With nothing positive available to them, all they are left with is deceit, slander, and character assassination. These are formidable weapons because they control the megaphones of the so-called "media" and the entertainment industry, which amplify their attacks and make them look bigger than they are. But despite everything the MSM and entertainment would have you believe-- the Democrats are losing, and losing badly. That is why the violence will increase. It's the last resort of the desperate. ______________________________________________________ "You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."
