Continued thoughts and prayers for Congressman Scalise and all those that were injured and their families. Thank God for the capital police that were there and those that responded as well.

The liberals are frantic because their rhetoric and actions are backfiring on them and they see control slipping away for the longer term. Now with Bernie advocating to splinter the Democratic party this is more evident than ever.

Nancy Pelosi is ignorant, twisted, and despicable in her blind loyalty to her own jumble of incoherent thoughts.

Yep, a truly terrible person. Compared to her, Sen. Feinstein has actually sounded rational a couple of times recently (much to my surprise).

Report: Dem Staffers Boo Trump at Unity Baseball Game

Thursday night’s Congressional Baseball Game was hailed as the ultimate sign of bipartisan unity, but dozens of Democrat staffers reportedly cursed, booed, and jeered when President Donald Trump appeared on the video screen at Nationals Park to deliver a message of unity.

According to a Washington Times report, the “staffers erupted into boos, jeers and even vulgar gesticulations” while Trump was saying, “you are showing the world we will not be intimidated by threats.” One person reportedly “shouted an expletive” at Trump while others even mocked the teams when they gathered near second base in prayer.

I was at the game. Dems played for the cameras. When the camera were off, they showed their true colors. Dem staffers did indeed boo & jeer when Trump delivered his message by video. When Capital Police Officer David Bailey threw out the first pitch, many dem staffers did not clap.A few laughed. These motherfuckers need to be hit over the head with a pillowcase of doorknobs. Repeatedly.

update from MedStar staff

Scalise suffered a trans pelvic gunshot wound, Dr. Jack Sava, director of trauma, told the press Friday.

The bullet did "substantial damage" to Scalise’s bones, internal organs and blood vessels, Sava revealed. While the congressman was awake on the baseball field, by the time he was transported to the hospital, he was in shock and immediately received units of transfused blood. Thanks to truly amazing anesthesia care, Scalise got through his first procedure. He then had another procedure in radiology and as today remains in the ICU.

Sava said he is encouraged by Scalise’s improvement. They managed to control the internal bleeding, and his vital signs have stabilized. Yet, his status remains critical and he requires additional operations. Predicting Scalise’s length of stay at the hospital is “difficult,” Sava acknowledged.

Following the surgeries, Scalise will need to undergo rehabilitation for a full recovery. “I feel more optimistic than I did two or three days ago,” he said.

How serious is the situation? Said that when Scalise first arrived at the hospital, he was in “critical condition, with an imminent risk of death.”

He said of the wound, "there are hundreds of fragments and usually there's more risk involved" to remove all of them from the congressman.

Sava said doctors were eventually able to reduce sedation in order to have the congressman see and speak to family members.

"I think that an excellent recovery is a good possibility," said Dr. Sava.

I genuinely hope that is true.

Stephen Miller from HeatStreet.com actually tested this. There was an all-women showing of Wonder Woman, and he bought a ticket and showed it on Twitter. He received all kinds of hate and vitriol about it on Twitter, and when he went to the movie, not one person said anything to him.

Do you notice the cities that these antifa thugs cause problems? They're all Democrat-run cities (Portland, Seattle, Baltimore). If the Dem cities actually cracked down on them instead of providing them "safe spaces", there would be a lot less of it going on.

Phone's ringing, Dude.

James T. Hodgkinson, the shooter who opened fire on dozens of Republican congressmen and staffers at a baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia, on Wednesday, had a list of Republican names in his pocket that was recovered by the FBI, The Daily Caller has learned.

The news that the shooter had a list of names suggests the shooting was not a random outburst, but instead appears to be a premeditated political assassination.

The list was written out on notepad paper and found in the shooter’s pocket, according to multiple sources with intimate knowledge of the situation, who spoke on condition of anonymity, citing the sensitivity of the investigation. The list of names included Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks, South Carolina Rep. Jeff Duncan and Arizona Rep. Trent Franks, TheDC has confirmed.

The FBI has contacted at least one of the three congressmen to inform them of their inclusion on the list.

None of the three offices would offer comments on the record when asked about the names on the list. Brooks and Franks’ office further directed all inquiries to the Capitol police, who declined to comment. The FBI’s Washington field office, which is handling the investigation, also provided no comment, citing the ongoing investigation.

All three representatives are members of the House Freedom Caucus, which contains the lower chamber’s most conservative members. Both Duncan and Brooks attended Wednesday’s baseball practice.

Can a 7.62 bullet from an SKS easily bring down an elephant?

John Roberts on Fox just assured us that was so.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

Is that so?

Well, I also heard today on Fox a woman (no idea who she was but some type of contributor, obviously an expert) say "Assault Rifle" rounds are different than regular rounds and cause more damage when they hit you. Learn something new everyday, Eh?

The doctor? I remember that. The assault bullets break up and do much more damage than regular bullets.

Nope. Just need a Russian short rifle round to get the job done.

How come they never bring firearms experts on the air to explain this stuff?? It is not that complicated. The networks at times have gone to great lengths to explain certain medical conditions with diagrams and the like. It can be simplfied so the average American can understand.
