There's like 27 different investigations going on. If it was public it'd be a partisan witch hunt. The IG report is the first step to justice. I have a sense of Hope- You think Donald Trump is going to roll over and accept that they tried to do to him? What they tried to do to the Country and the Constitution? ____________________________________________________ The butcher with the sharpest knife has the warmest heart.

Roger Stone, described as a longtime Washington insider, and a Trump advisor and confidant, says that the Deep State's Plan C with Trump is-- assassination. That is a pretty shocking thing for someone to say publicly, especially someone who is closely connected to the president. Plan A was the whole Russia collusion, which has pretty much collapsed. Plan B is the "Trump is mentally unstable and unfit" story. I think I have heard the name "Roger Stone," but I don't know anything about him. Does anyone here know who he is? Is he credible? http://www.americanthinker.com...sor_roger_stone.html ______________________________________________________ "You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."

No clue who he is but It obviously stands to reason that when it comes to political corruption what we don't know is far worse than what we know. And what we know right now is astounding in a bad way. I just said to the wife this morning that I would not be surprised if assassination plots have not been considered by the deep state up to and including factions of the FBI and DOJ. Such discussions may have already come to light in text messages or documents but no real evidence would ever be leaked or made public. Ever. Nope, not for one minute. That's why I haven't been too worried about it. He plays the long game, and so far, he plays it far better than any of his opponents. ______________________________________________ “There are plenty of good reasons for fighting, but no good reason ever to hate without reservation, to imagine that God Almighty Himself hates with you, too.”

I suspect we are on at least plan G by now. Plan A may have been a frantic search for votes from anywhere in key states on election night during a "pause" in returns. Plan B may have been the Madison Electors scheme.

James Comey tweets today: "Thoughtful leaders on both sides of the aisle know FISA section 702 is a vital and carefully overseen tool to protect this country. This isn’t about politics." Guess we will see about that in the next mos or two.

This is a post about the Steele “dossier”. Buzzfeed published the dossier on 10 Jan 2017. The dossier is a collection of separate reports from Christopher Steele. The dossier is divided into two sets. The pre-election set is 16 reports dated from 20 June 2016 to 20 Oct 2016. All of these were funded by Fusion GPS (Glenn Simpson). The post election set is a single report dated 13 Dec 2016. It was not funded by Fusion. The Fusion funding for Steele ended when the election occurred. According to Steele, this last report was unsolicited material that was provided to him by his sources after the election. In the 13 Dec report, negative things are said about a company called XBT/Webzilla. This company Webzilla is suing Buzzfeed and Christopher Steele. The case is being pursued in London and in the U.S. The Orbis / Steele testimony in the London trial has shed additional light into the dossier. The London testimony was discussed at length in the recent Simpson interview w Senate Judiciary staffers. Here is the Dec 2016 report from Steele: Here is a link to a Senator Grassley ltr. https://www.judiciary.senate.g...nce-with-attachments The ltr has 2 attachments about Orbis/Steele lawyer inputs to the London case. The “first defendant” is Orbis Business Intelligence Limited, and the “second defendant” is Christopher Steele. In those attachments Steele’s lawyers say this: So when they get sued, the dossier is “raw intelligence”, “unverified” and “unconfirmed” I especially like the last line "its content must be critically viewed in light of the purpose for and circumstances in which the information was collected" FBI Dep Dir Andrew McCabe couldn't identify any substantive allegations in the dossier that has been verified. But, McCabe was asked if he stood by its veracity. McCabe said he did.

Isn't whether Cohen went to Prague the most basic of things that can be 100% verified? If he never went to Prague...how can any of the rest of the drivel in the "dossier" matter? Here is what I found on CNN (normally I wouldn't go to "fake news central", but even their reporting on the matter makes it pretty darn clear Cohen couldn't have been in Prague late August '16.)

Cohen never went to Prague or anywhere else. That was one of the objective facts checked when word of this dossier first appeared. Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Isn't that the guy that got fired? The same guy that leaked to the media? Or, exonerated the H. before she was even interviewed by the FBI? Why would he think anybody gives a flying rats ass what he thinks?

James Comey is sure one arrogant asshole. He really believes he's above partisan bickering. I bet he was insufferable as a boss to those who weren't moralizing ideologues like himself. Yet another excellent Trump decision to dump him.

https://www.politico.com/story...-gps-buzzfeed-332747 Michael Cohen, longtime attorney for President Donald Trump, filed defamation lawsuits Tuesday evening against research firm Fusion GPS and BuzzFeed. The Fusion GPS lawsuit, which was filed at a federal court level, seeks $100 million in damages. A separate amount in damages for the BuzzFeed lawsuit, which was filed at the state court level, will be determined at trial *************** I may not be recalling this correctly, but I think when the dossier material first came out, it was noted by someone that there was a Cohen traveling to Prague from the U.S., but it was not Donald Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen. This would be a classic example of how false stories are built. Take something that is known and factual. Then spin a bunch of lies on top that have no basis in reality. That mixture of fact and fiction gives the story "credibility". It looks like that was used several times in the dossier. I have often wondered if there ever were "Russian" sources. Is the dossier a complete and utter fabrication?
