Forty thousand hours? It's going to take a lot of eyes to go through all of that. That's more than four and a half years of video.

I too would like to see this happen however I think the likelihood of seeing it carried through to disbarment, and especially to actual prosecution, is very slim. Consider the fairly recent FISA cases where patently false affidavits were used to gain permission to engage in illegal surveillance of American citizens. Much outrage expressed but not much in the way of meaningful sanctions against those responsible. When crafting laws, lawyers seem to be pretty good at carving out immunity, whether it be qualified or absolute, for those responsible for prosecuting or adjudicating cases.

Yes. Prosecutors are supposed to get to the truth, even if exculpatory. They are not to seek a conviction at any cost. "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

What you bring up is really the most shocking of it all. That Viking guys lawyer was told he got everything and he saw a lot of it for the first time on Tuckers show which is incomprehensible. I think a lot of people, especially liberals completely missed Tuckers main point. It’s not that Conservatives are great and Liberals are the devil it’s that both sides are working together and only battle each other to get the upper hand of the power and money. We all knew this but to see it play out so obviously and illegally was kinda jarring to be honest.

Here’s a different point of view: Tucker pulled his punches This author echoes what I thought starting the second night of the “reveal”: Is that all he’s got?? _________________________ “Remember, remember the fifth of November!"

^^^WAY different point of view...Almost detached from reality, with wholly unreasonable expectations! Tucker pulled his punches By John Dale Dunn
https://www.americanthinker.co...led_his_punches.html Deep State win MY ASS! This is just the opening salvo, and the 'Uni-Party' Leadership seem to be attempting to double down and defend the indefensible! Carlson pointedly called them out for the liars they are, and separate from disproving the narrative they've been peddling, are the egregious violations of civil rights and due process rights of the J6 defendants whose lives have been destroyed by our government! It's FORTY THOUSAND HOURS of video! That equates to over 3300 twelve hour shifts just to review it all, so it's premature (and an unreasonable expectation!) to be able to produce every piece of 'smoking gun' evidence necessary to take down the FBI/DOJ/J6 Committee/State Media narrative during THREE hours of show content! Tucker will likely had a multi-part Tucker Carlson Originals series on this, and may have more reporting to come on re: the J6 videos on his regular nightly show, maybe even next week. Kinda makes me wonder what kind of agenda the author of the article is pushing, or is being incentivized to push here... ____________________________________________________________ If Some is Good, and More is Better.....then Too Much, is Just Enough !! Didn't TC say a lot of those 40k hours were just empty rooms that had cameras on them? Surely, there's software that can wash out anything with no movement in it.

Victim of Life's Circumstances |
Tucker takes his marching orders from Rupert Murdoch and his sons and Paul Ryan sees they are carried out. McCarthy gave the video to Tucker because he knew Ryan would censor. I think the American Thinker article is on the money. KM didn't offer to share videos with Sundance at Conservative Treehouse or Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit - no control over them. I hope to have to eat this post and will gladly if Tucker turns out to be a savior and not just another purveyor of hopium. We'll know soon. ________________________ God spelled backwards is dog

J6 defendant who walked into Capitol through an open door, spent less than a minute inside, and left when asked by a Capitol cop faces prison By Thomas Lifson By any standard, the treatment of January 6 defendants has been a disgrace to the Department of Justice, the D.C. federal bench, and the Constitution. Scores of people have been held in inhumane conditions in the D.C. Gulag, denied their constitutional right to speedy trial, and denied access to exculpatory evidence. The blanket media coverage excoriating them as "violent insurrectionists" has prevented these constitutional outrages from becoming a national scandal. But there is a chance, a small chance, that the release of CCTV Capitol video by Speaker McCarthy may change the national consensus (other than in conservative media) that there is nothing to see here, they are getting what they deserve. One such instance powered by the video release is the case of Daniel Goodwyn, who faces federal prison via DOJ prosecutors. Goodwyn's crime was simply walking through an open door into the Capitol, spending less than a minute inside, and immediately leaving when asked to do so by a Capitol policeman. Goodwyn (in red cap) heading out the door after 35 seconds in the Capitol. Last night, Tucker Carlson presented the video and spoke to Goodwin and his lawyer: (transcript via Grabien) Carlson: "One of the things we learned, maybe the main thing we learned when we finally got access to thousands of hours of surveillance footage that the January 6th Committee had been hiding is that some people the media told you were terrorists, they were terrorists, needed to go to prison, and who did go to prison, actually never committed terrorism of any kind. Just the opposite. They just kind of wandered through the Capitol Building. That's true of Jacob Chansley, the so-called QAnon shaman who people in the media told you should be killed. But he's hardly the only one. This is video of a man called Daniel Goodwyn walking through the Capitol through an open door on January 6, 2021 at exactly 3:32 P.M. That is long after the doors were breached. Now, we got this video, the one you're watching now, from the speaker of the House's office earlier this month. Mr. Goodwyn's attorney tells us that the legal team was also provided this video. In it you can clearly see that Goodwyn was inside for less than a minute. When he was asked to leave, he left. So, there's no dispute about any of that. It's all on tape. But the DoJ is still trying to send Daniel Goodwyn to prison. In the meantime, they have completely wrecked his life. Daniel Goodwyn joins us now, along with his lawyer Carol Stewart. Thanks to both of you for coming on. First to you, Daniel. Your story, I think, is similar to the story of many people in your position, but just give us a sense of what the federal government has done to you for the crime of wandering around the Capitol for one minute and leaving when asked." GOODWYN: "Thanks for having me on, Tucker. Yeah, what they've done is, I had to spend about a month incarcerated pre-trial and then about a year in pre-trial home confinement. I was facing 20 years and now I'm still facing one year." Carlson: "You're facing a full year in prison for that?" GOODWYN: "That's right. I was in there for less than a minute." Carlson: "And I just want to be as fair and transparent as possible. Is there anything you're leaving out? Did you commit vandalism? Did you hurt anyone?" GOODWYN: "It's actually in the documents that I even said I didn't steal anything, I didn't break anything, you know, I didn't hurt anyone or anything like that." Carlson: "So, I mean, how is what they're doing to you allowed in this country? You seem like a political prisoner. What would be another name for it?" GOODWYN: "Political hostage, because prisoners have rights. They have taken many of our rights away as January 6ers." Carlson: "It's disgusting." https://www.americanthinker.co...op_faces_prison.html "Some things are apparent. Unflappable Enginerd |
Any even remotely reasonable person would have watched his video and dropped the charges. He walked in maybe 25 feet, talked to a cop, and was back out the door in literally 40 seconds. But, oh no, this guy has already served a month of confinement and a year of house arrest. And they are still pushing the case forward for 1 year in prison. Pitiful. ETA: Oh noes! So apparently this guy is a member of the "Proud Boys"(guilt by association, white supremacist) and may be even a little autistic, as if that changes a damn thing. But by God, lock that cell and throw away the key. __________________________________ NRA Benefactor I lost all my weapons in a boating, umm, accident. http://www.aufamily.com/forums/

Thank you Very little |
They don't want justice, they want to put the fear of god into the public that coming into DC and entering the halls of congress will ruin your life, it's about intimidation against anything happening in the future. Those that they prosecute are being sacrificed to send a message...

Staring back from the abyss |
Where are the checks and balances? That is what I want to know. Clearly, what has been done to many of these people is unconstitutional, and yet...nothing happens. Who should step in? Congress? What can they do? SCOTUS? What can they do? Armed citizens? (Not advocating that...yet) ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton.

That’s exactly what this is. We can let the angry mobs destroy the public’s livelihood like what happened to many businesses across the country during the summer of love but when it comes into th I “house” a hen it becomes a different story.

Is that idiot Biden gonna get us in a war with Russia or China? We aren't the only ones asking the question: Tucker predicts a hot war with Russia (and maybe China) leading to wartime crushing of political dissent By Thomas Lifson Love him or hate him, Tucker Carlson has become the most important political analyst of our era. The release to him of suppressed J6 Capitol footage that contradicted the Democrat/media narrative dominated political news until Carlson’s questionnaire on Ukraine policy to the potential GOP presidential field knocked it out of the headlines. Not since Woodward and Bernstein dominated the news with Watergate has a media source produced results that focused the national spotlight so completely as Mr. Tucker Carlson. Unsurprisingly, many are the progressives who want to see him knocked off the air. Last night, he began his top-rated hour-long program with the following startling statement: “You’re going to get a hot war with Russia – and China – whether you want one or not.” He followed with analysis of the Black Sea drone incident and the calls for retaliation and escalation from Lindsey Graham and “his friends in the war party” that would likely lead to outright war. And wartime, he noted at the end of the segment, leads to extraordinary suppression of political dissent. … the second we actually go to war with Russia, they will use that as a pretext to crush all dissent. Dissent is not allowed in wartime. And that’s what this is really about (in addition to their personal enrichment). It’s about changing the domestic politics of the United States. The second we can all say that we are at war with Russia, not ‘in effect’ but in reality in a hot war which is what they want, that’s the moment you are no longer allowed to express your opinion. And the penalty is jail during war. He linked the timing of the incident to the war skepticism over Ukraine voiced by many of the GOP respondents to his presidential field questionnaire. He also claimed that a majority of both Republicans and the general public do not support war against Russia, and yet expression of skepticism is characterized in the media as supporting Russia. The video clip examples he provided were startling, as was his analysis of the worried look on the face of General Milley discussing the incident: YouTube screengrab Tucker noted that the US has sent Ukraine more money than the typical entire Russian military budget, and yet Ukraine complains that it is running out of ammunition and demands more. So, what has happened to the $100 billion-plus sent to the most corrupt country in Europe? Don’t ask, or you will be demonized in the media, just as Speaker McCarthy is currently undergoing for refusing to pay a visit to Ukraine to kiss Zelenskyy's ring. The fifteen minutes of this opening were the most important thing on television yesterday. If you missed it, be sure to watch the entire segment via YouTube: https://www.americanthinker.co...litical_dissent.html "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. I was thinking about the 40,000 hours of footage. If this footage were released to the public and posted on a website, I imagine it would be parsed in a day or two. Set it up in blocks and have citizens check out blocks and have a checklist form looking for specific things like violence, corruption etc. If multiple people check out the same blocks, and the checklists start matching, then you could have a REAL journalist like Salty Cracker or Cat Turd take a look and present them on their media. I agree with the OP’s comments about Tucker. I cancelled Dish Network after the 2020 election and have only been watching Tucker’s videos via the Fox Youtube page for the past 2.5 years. Both he and Hannity have become quite tiresome. I also don’t trust Fox News at all any more. +

How ironic it is that I have ceased tuning into FoxNews entirely, expressly because they fired Tucker Carlson. I visit their website daily but I watch none of the video content there. I don't listen to any of their on-air personalities. I read news stories which are usually written by staff writers, reporters and editors but that's it.

Same here. There was a point in which I was actually thinking of dumping Carlson for Watters. But not now. FOX is not allowed in my house, not even for a micro second.

The best news content and commentary is on Rumble right now. The Steve Bannon and Charlie Kirk live stream lineup is excellent. Glenn Greenwald and Sebastian Gorka also have excellent shows. Once you get away from the networks and source your content on a more freedom oriented platform, you won't go back. Fox News is CNN lite, and the company-man anchors who carry their water are milquetoast squishes for the most part. Tucker had some great segments, but for all of the loud barking, when push came to shove he pulled his biggest punches.
