His monologues merely restate what is already known by anyone who is paying attention to the news cycle on a daily basis. I get nothing useful from him anymore.

Get Off My Lawn |
I haven't sat down and purposely watch Tucker Carlson in years, I'll see his segments piecemeal from youtube if the topic is of interest. I have heard his show is the highest rated one out of the cable talking heads, don't really know if this is still true (I'm guessing it is).
This is true. I like some of Carlson's stuff, but he doesn't hold a candle compared to the late Rush Limbaugh, not even close. As far as his more in depth interviews go, I agree with the earlier post that they are to drive traffic to the streaming service. Which I wont pay for. End of Earth: 2 Miles Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

Lawyers, Guns and Money |
Good evening and welcome to Tucker Carlson tonight... Tucker: Here's who you should be afraid of... Yes, all the others talked about Atty. Gen. Garland's testimony before the Judiciary committee... Others may have pointed out the disparity between the Justice Department's pursuit of abortion clinic protesters vs. those who attack pregnancy crisis centers (where women are given assistance, and counseling). But I didn't hear anyone else saying "on some level all governments hate religious people, because it's competition... Anyone who sincerely believes in God is a threat and that is the measure of a free country... Are you allowed to believe in an authority higher than the people in charge of your government?" Tucker attempts to tie things together and makes you think about the why behind the what. He sometimes extrapolates too far and it seems absurd. But he's at least a little different than what you get on other news/commentary shows. "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

You have cow? I lift cow! |
He pegged my stranger danger from day 1. Never liked him, don't trust him, seems like a dam weirdo. Even if sometimes he's saying exactly what I want to hear, he still works for Fox News and I don't consider them my friend. Believe them to be manipulators. I agree with everything in the first post too, that scowl is just weird.

He can tie his dick in a knot for all I care. I am not listening anymore to anything he has to say.

I could care less for Watters. Comes across as a smug know it all. Does not check his facts. He went on about the Kamikazee attack on Pearl Harbor.

His Royal Hiney |
I used to not like him for his voice intonations. But, now, I like to listen to him because of his contrarian views to conservative ideas along with him being against liberalism. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." I watch him on and off. I have the Fox Nation subscription. I don't hate him but I don't live for each episode of his show. It seems like he used to get some left leaning guests on the show and he would beat them up with a velvet glove covering his fist. He seldom has opposing view points on his show these days and it may be that they don't want to be publicly beat up. Tucker Carlson Originals (I think on Fox Nation only?) has some pretty good stuff like the "Death of Comedy", "Biden Inc", and "Battle For The Border" (to name a few) are interesting.

I agree completely with Para; I no longer watch TC regularly as I used to during the pandemic. At first it was extremely useful that he had people on like Marty Makary who were qualified experts daring to counter the lies of the public health establishment. But--as a physician, trained also in epidemiology and biostatistics, with a long career of teaching and practice of evidence-based medicine--he did unconscionable things that were profoundly unscientific, and in many cases did more harm than good in my opinion. For example: one cannot use the VAERS (vaccine adverse events reporting system) to compare adverse effects of flu vaccines vs. COVID vaccines, because of the very strong self-selection factor in a highly political environment. Having said that, I also agree with this:
In these long-form interviews, Carlson does engage with his guests and gets a lot of useful information from them. Of course some are more interesting than others. Look, for example, at his interview with Dr. Steven Koonin on climate change. Or with Michael Shellenberger on urban decay under Leftist governments. _________________________ “Remember, remember the fifth of November!"

Serious question- does he scowl at his guests on Fox Nation?

^^^^ I frequently watch his long-format interviews on Fox Nation. It seems like he generally hand-picks most of his guests from the guest list of his daily week night show if he finds them interesting or if he feels they have something to bring to some particular current event. I enjoy the majority of those shows and the only times I can recall him looking at guests with a funny expression on his face is when they say something he doesn't quite understand and then he usually gets clarification and moves on.

The Ice Cream Man |
The paranoid in me, thinks this is an attempt to ridicule conservatism in the eyes of the populace. Glenn Beck seemed decent, until he went crazy as well. But, there’s another part of me which wonders what conservative would seek a television career? That they would come to it by writing/maybe podcasts/talk radio makes sense. Maybe being a dancing pony gets to them. Haven’t they all gone nuts after a certain level of prominence? (Maybe all people do?) I find Gutfeld! entertaining, provided Gutfeld isn’t speaking/preferably isn’t on the show.

Legalize the Constitution |
However you feel about Tucker Carlson, you might consider watching tonight’s episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight. His show, (Monday, March 6) is all about the surveillance video footage in the Capitol from January 6th, 2021. It’s very revealing, and I don’t know where you can see this, or a synopsis of the footage, anywhere else. _______________________________________________________ despite them

At one time, I watched Tucker Carlson regularly. My television or computer hasn't been tuned to FOX since election night 2020. Diligentia, Vis, Celeritas "People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf." -- George Orwell

He is one of the few people on TV actually asking questions. He just exposed all the J6 stuff that we knew was BS. The Youtubers are already following along by posting recordings and commenting on it. So, while aspects of the show are annoying, at least he's asking questions the rest of the Press won't ask.
