Car free for the unwashed masses. I'm sure the VIPs will be dropped off by limousines. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." While I’m sure they will eff it up, mass transit would make more sense for a lot of events - traffic gets so backed up at the Austin F1 race they offer a helicopter shuttle. I don’t know if there are trains to Camden Yards or the Miami Heat stadium, but as much of a mess as it makes, I’d take a train if I could. | |||

Train station immediately outside Camden Yards. It’s actually the best way to get to a game, even closer than most parking. It does add an extra step and uncertainty about parking at the station, as we live in the sticks and have to drive to get to the train. .Gov transit makes perfect sense in the cities, until TEOTWAWKI happens. Then everyone dies together. Out here in diesel truck land, it would take 4 hours to get the 10 miles to wal-mart if we had .gov transportation. This is where the greenies plan really falls apart, or rather, where they don’t care what happens, as we don’t vote the way we are “supposed to”.
