one more example of how low class the family is:

https://www.breitbart.com/big-...ohn-mccains-funeral/

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, who was Sen. John McCain (R-AZ)’s running mate in the 2008 presidential election, has been excluded from his funeral.

Breitbart News has independently confirmed an earlier report in People magazine, which reported that Palin was not sent an invitation, and was told through intermediaries to stay away from the ceremony.

When news broke on Saturday of McCain’s passing, Palin said: “Today we lost an American original. Sen. John McCain was a maverick and a fighter, never afraid to stand for his beliefs. John never took the easy path in life — and through sacrifice and suffering he inspired others to serve something greater than self."

“John McCain was my friend. I will remember the good times. My family and I send prayers for Cindy and the McCain family.”

Still, Palin never took offense, and always honored McCain. Even after being excluded from the funeral, she declined to criticize him.

People quoted a source close to the Palin family: “[O]ut of respect for Sen. McCain and his family we have nothing to add at this point. The Palin family will always cherish their friendship with the McCains and hold those memories dear."

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

No matter what you think of Sarah Palin, she was out there campaigning, punching hard and on the attack. McCain himself ran the worst campaign ever.

Way to go Sarah, that is a great example of class right there.

That is very classy of her.

Hell no one will ever convince me that campaign wasn't rigged from the get go. Whatever McCain's part of the deal was got shit canned or blew apart from Trump's election and subsequent swamp shake up.
I don't think Palin was in on it and they used her. Let her take the fall for the planned losing.

Inviting Sarah Palin, McCain's running mate, to the funeral would make Bill & Hillary, Barry, Georgie, Nancy, Diane and all the rest of his buddies all uncomfortable. Same goes for Trump. McCain gets his Safe Space.

God, what a bunch of petty, spiteful weasels.

Governor Palin was told to stay away, and they are complaining about President Trump’s “snubs”‽ Further words fail me. Roll Eyes

What a troubled little man.
In his dying days he took time to address the things which were most important to him.
Made a list of who he did not want at his funeral.

He most likely would have been better served ensuring he knew where he was going to be spending eternity.

McCain was a person who loved chaos and enjoyed creating just that in the GOP. He was divisive in last years. Instead of being a voice for unity, he turned his back on those that supported him and openly supported the Democrats, which I think he was all along. Trump has handled himself well sticking to business and I'm proud of what he's accomplished - more than any sitting president, ever IMO. Meanwhile, I expect a liberal themed movie, not based in fact, to be made of McCain - coming to a cinema near you very soon....

I've tried to stay out.
But …

"Sen. John McCain dives deep into conspiracy theories regarding the salacious so-called Steele dossier in his new book, "The Restless Wave," defending his decision to turn over the documents to former FBI Director James Comey.

"Conspiracy theories have grown around what I did and why," McCain wrote, saying those included that he's a "double agent for Russia" and that he "acted out of jealousy" that Donald Trump won a presidential election when he didn't.

But the Arizona Republican said he felt he had an obligation "to bring to the attention of appropriate officials unproven accusations I could not assess myself" that could make Trump vulnerable to a "hostile foreign power" if any of them were true.

"Anyone who doesn't like it can go to hell," McCain said, adding that he would "do it again."

John McCain sent me to Hell.

I don't wish the same on him.

I feel better now.

All done by a man with advanced brain cancer.
There's no rational reason for the press to give this weight, but their acute DTS gives them all the rationale their fascist minds need.

I don't care if he's at peace or not.

Wasn't it last year, that self centered prick on TV blasted anyone who listened to "Right Wing" Radio.

Thank goodness, we're rid of him.

Maybe it's a rich-people/famous-people thing, but I don't think I've ever known of a funeral that required an invitation for attendance.

^^This. He did it for his spite for the President. He must not have really cared how his decision would affect the Republican Party months or years to come.
Why Fox News is still praising him is interesting though.
Since a building is going to bear his name, at least have it in parentheses. Razz

It wouldn't surprise me to learn that was some John McCain in Lindsey. I've suspected it for years.

Seems rather low for his family not to invite her.

The Seanate Office Building is going to be named after McCain.
Seems redundant to name the SOB McCain.
McCain (SOB)

Yes, I agree have it in parentheses.
