Thanks Yeti, my upcoming cooler purchase just got a lot easier.

This is what I don't get. From a strictly business standpoint I can't see this doing anything but hurt business. How many people have actually refused to buy Yeti products because Yeti has done business with the NRA vs now, how many people are not going to be buying Yeti products because they have stopped doing business with the NRA? I'd be upset if I was monetarily invested in any way with this company.

I have a Yeti coffee cup. I love it. That was the last Yeti product I'll ever buy.

My typical stash of beer doesn't last long enough, that I need to keep it cold for two weeks. Styrofoam works just fine. Now I have even less reason to buy a Yeti.

My message to Yeti:

quote:

Dear Yeti,

I own *one* Yeti product: Your coffee mug. It was expensive, but worth it. That mug had me rethinking the cost/benefit thing in future purchases. Then you had to go and join the virtue-signalling crowd. *sigh* It's not so much that you no longer care to do business with the NRA. It's more a case of my having had enough of the incessant virtue-signalling.

I shall not be buying any further Yeti products. Well done!

When Yetis became more mainstream a few years ago, I kept hearing about how great they were. So, I went down to eyeball them one day and perhaps bring one home.

When I saw the price tag, I commented to a fella standing nearby that if I was going to spend that amount of money for a box to keep my beverages cold, I'd just by a small fridge...for less money.

Fuck 'em. Especially now that they have come out as anti-gun.

If people are going to buy an expensive cooler, please buy a Pelican. Yes, the same Pelican that makes the great rifle cases. Their coolers are better than YetI, hands down, and their coolers are made in the USA.

Never bought Yeti, or planned to, now for sure not. They have been sorta big with hunters, I can see them taking a real hit.

I guess they can go for the tailgating crowd now.

Never bought one, I was going to but had a really hard time finding the ones made in USA. They had two plants making the same coolers but the USA made ones are hard to find unless you call and order direct. I bought a Cabela’s brand instead. Hopefully not associated with Yeti.

Don't own a YETI. Too many other options that are just as good that cost a fraction of what their stuff cost.

Looks like they are getting slammed on social media. Who know sportsmen who buy their product might also be members/supporters of the NRA.

I have four Yeti coolers and I cant tell you how many tumblers. I've also given away a small fortune in Yeti products as gifts. But no more. I too just sent a message to the company. I don't usually do such a thing, but I've had enough of this kind of spineless shit.

Baffling decision. I wonder if their bean counters really thought that one through, given that the F-250:Forester Yeti sticker ratio is so lopsided. Not a lotta tree hugger Yeti stickers in my neck o' the woods...
