Did not know him but I certainly remember his animal posts and especially the family update photos from a few years back. Rest easy, Sir, and prayers of comfort to family and friends.

I remember that & his story of giving a Khar [IIRC] to the one on the far left.
Sad to hear of his passing.

Sad news. I was always impressed with his efforts being an animal owner myself.

Part of our ‘family’ has passed.

Thank you for sharing this. It is good to connect his post name with his real name, and his pictures. A lot of love beams from James' face.

I will echo what Tiger said. You can tell the wealth of a person by their friends. Vero8 was a very wealthy man.

I don't remember interacting with him. Those pictures with his family show him happy. What's sad for me is that he didn't get to taste retirement. What a shame.

My condolences to the family.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual."
