I was facebook friends with James (I know FB is frowned upon) and it was plain to see what a lovely man he was...it was hard to come up with a word to describe him...but lovely fits. I'm very sorry he's gone.

We called him MasterBlaster. Smile

He kept Monteen supplied with injured and orphaned raptors.

His kindness will be unmatched.

Damn. I only had a few personal interactions with him, but he was a hell of a good guy. You could just tell that about him instantly.

RIP, James.

Aw, shit.

What a sweet, kind, gentle, man. A true servant of the people, and a wonderfully generous soul.

I will miss him.

Very sad, he will be missed. I enjoyed his posts he always came across as a super nice guy. I remember him doing the pet adoption thing here but never knew he caught grief from his work over it.

I’m very sorry to hear this. He was a great man. I remember his work with the dogs on here. I didn’t realize it caused him problems at work.

AWARE (Atlanta's raptor center) had to set them straight over forcing him to send raptors to them when HawkTalk would send me down to get them. AWARE let them know really quick that James knew what he was doing by having me go get the birds.

One time I had to go get ten baby hawks at once because CCPD had them overwhelmed with birds.

Never had the pleasure of getting to know him, but I remember him posting his family photos. He looked to be so proud of his family and they so looked proud of him. Prayers for him on his new journey, and to his family for their loss.

Sad day when a good man passes, as the world needs as many as it can get.

Rest in Peace James.
