My heart is broken,James and I go back decades,I knew his brothers, sister, neeses and nephews. His mom was a precious lady and had visited me a several times.
I had the pleasure of teaching his nephew my way of shooting pistols.
He was a buffalo solder buff,I gave him my trapdoor garrison rifle for Xmas present many years back.
I have no information .
He visited me several days ago,we talk shop, not medical issues,he came by checking on me after my surgery.
He was a devoted employee for animal control and was getting close to retirement,Damn shame cause he sure earned it
Friends ,that all I got at the moment.
Please say a prayer for him tonight,I know I will and I know where his soul is now.
Ralph

I didn't know him at all but just reading this thread James was obviously a very special and wonderful man. I wish I had the pleasure of knowing him.

My condolences, I've never met the man but I instantly recognize his name as a major part of Sigforum over the years. He sounded like a great guy, R.I.P.

Very, very sorry to hear that. I always enjoyed his posts and his pictures. He always had a huge smile on his face and seemed to get so much joy out of life, particularly when he was helping or teaching others. I remember seeing him in a lot of the GA sigforum shoot photos as well. He used to post a lot more than he has in recent years, but he'd still check in now and then. I will miss seeing him here. Thought/wondered about him a couple times recently, this sad news despite having no one of one interaction with him ever, just seemed like a good dude.

That hurts now to read this. I bought my green G21 years back because I wanted one like Veros. May he rest in peace. Surely a good man God.
