Phillies are fun to watch, I'm a Reds fan but was pulling for Dodgers because of Will Smith LA catcher who is a local kid who is easy to like. Freddie Freeman is a favorite too.Word around fan forums is Dodgers are managed by laptop analytics with little regard for momentum or hot streaks. Hogwash

Phillies are on fire and having fun. I'd paid little attention to Padres but they are likable and Machado can sure play 3rd. Soto just a kid, sky is the limit for him.

Good post season so far - Go Phillies!

Gee. You would have thought that someone in the Yankee organization would have remembered to take the trash cans out of the Astro’s dugout

That was a good game 4, the Yankees gave HTown all we could handle. Glad we got the pennant in four.

Next up is the Phillies time to get some payback for 1980!

Altuve warming up, Air Yordon warming up, King tuck also thawing, Peña is red hot, catchers hitting, Bregman hitting clutch. Let’s win one for Dusty.

My Phillies aren’t ready to take the next step yet. Houston will win the first two, Phillies 2 out of the next 3, and the Astros will win in 6.

I'd love to be wrong, but they have dead spots in their order and a pen that's all over the map. Anything can happen, but I don’t see many weaknesses in how Houston is playing right now. The Phillies have hot bats and nothing to lose. That's a dangerous combo, so it is possible.

Wow, the Yankees put up quite a fight Roll Eyes . I know they had injuries but they played with no heart. Pitching was good, offense (aside from Bader and Rizzo) was putrid. Houston Astros are definitely the Yankees daddy. I gotta say, I love Bregman. Everything I think a good ballplayer should be.

My dad was a Phillies fan, and I kind of like them, but being a long time Houstonian, I am an Astros fan. The Astros have too much for the Phillies. Five game series.

The Phillies have one of the best win percentages (if not the best) in the MLB in the playoffs at the Bank. Houston will end up winning, but the Phillies aren't losing more than one at home.

I think it is going to be a great WS. Phillies have momentum and belief. Astros just beat a weak team (yes, my team). But the thing about the ALCS is the Yanks were so inept that we didn't get to see the Stros fully show the power of their bullpen. Very little weakness in that roster. Astros favorites obviously but Phillies have the heart and won't go down as easy as the pinstripe posers.

Cashman can't seem to figure things out. Yank's need a house cleaning.

As a Mariners fan I can appreciate the Astro's. Not a Verlander fan though. Dusty has been a favorite of mine going way back when he played for the Dodgers. It would be cool to seem him get a ring.

Phil's are on a good run. Swarber is a hitting machine.
Astro's pitching will frustrate the Phils is my guess.

It's a 4 inning game now!

Who ever thought Verlander would cough up a 5-0 lead!

Tough to watch, Phillies hitting well & Verlander just not in the groove.

I’m just the opposite of rugged cross. I like Verlander and my memories of Dusty were sitting on the bench in the Cubs dugout letting pitchers dig a hole for themselves. Schwarber is killing it and Peña has been huge. I think this is gonna go to game 7.
