The Phillies are looking good. The one that surprised me was the Padres.

I just want to see Cleveland and L.A lose. Who wins doesn’t matter as long as it’s neither of those two.

Pitcher's battle so far. 0-0 & 8 innings

Going into the 10th Eek

And now to the 12th

17 scoreless innings, on to the 18th. The NYY/CLE game will be done before this one.
Peña in the 18th!

Set the record for the most scoreless innings & I think tied for the longest [innings] postseason game.

2 more records for Astros vs Mariners Game 3:
  • The two teams combined to set a record for strikeouts in a postseason game with 42.
  • first time both teams had 20 or more strikeouts

Just got home from the Mariner game.
I don’t usually drink but my wife and a couple friends we took to the game stopped at the Marriott where my wife works on our way home, my wife is designated driver so we got drunk.
Houston has a helluva team that’s for sure.
Peña was huge in every game.
    See y’all next season.

Tomgun, your Mariner team is legit!
That was a great baseball series, one of the greatest. For sure we will have to face you guys again and that line up is daunting.
The AL West is tough and still getting better.

Congratulations to Seattle on a great team and season.

    Go Phils!

So cool to see an underdog NLCS!

I’m hoping Cleveland can finish the Yankees too.

Rookie George Kirby locked up the Astro bats for 7 innings. He was a hoss.
Padres took care of the Dodgers, nobody thought that would happen. Phillies look like the hottest team right now, knocked out the Braves.
    Go Cleveland!

Didn't hear the final number, but the pitch count was in the 400s in the 16th, IIRC.

It’s a glorious day. The Dodgers collapsed after beating all comers during the regular season. LOL. Just make the playoffs and build your team for a short series.

I’d like a Padres ~Cleveland World Series for the no ratings so network TV can suck it.

498 total pitches. Doesn’t include bullpen warm ups or between innings of course.

How about that ump that had to be half bent over for that many. Let alone the catchers on each team in the squat for 18 innings

Wife and i were at Petco last night and Friday. Absolutely the loudest crowds ever.

Friday night the crowd was electric. And LOUD 90 minutes before the first pitch.

Last night walking is, the crowd was more subdued but still loud. The rain delay seemed to get the crowd even more fired up though not quite as electric as Friday.

First two innings was loud. NOBODY sat down after the 7th inning stretch and the crowd just got louder, Louder, and LOUDER.

For those who know the area, we stayed in our seats about 45 minutes after the last pitch. We were not the last to leave. People who parked in the structure across from the park were trapped (sucked for the Dodgers fans who tried to leave).

Wife and i got out of the park and onto the streets at 11:30 pm. Best way to describe it - controlled mayhem.

We hung out at in The Gaslamp quarter at an Irish place called The Field and watched the revelry from the balcony.

At 1:00 am we decided to weave our way to our truck. It was still crowded but we did get out of downtown within 30 minutes (we did not park across from Petco for that game nor will we for the first two games of the NLCS and, hopefully, the Series.

The crowd was in the realm of concert loud, without the band, amps, and speakers. I honestly feel that Friday night’s crowd caught the Dodgers team off guard.

Finally, during the regular season, Dodgers’ fans and their blue jerseys were prevalent for every game. Last night and Friday, nary a Dodger blue was to be found.

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

When we hit the bar at the Marriott after the marathon Mariner game last night there was a group from Houston staying there that had just returned from the game.
They were very cool and started us off with shots for everyone! It sure made the loss more bearable to spend some time with some great fans no matter who you cheer for.
I hope the Astros win the whole deal!
