A good friend of mine who's been back in the US about 3 weeks now from Afgan. sent me this article, Pretty good read! Written in Taliban Aug 17 Written By Matthew Griffin & Scott Chapman The first time I saw you was in the Khyber Pass. You came with your technology, elite fighters fueled by revenge, and the hubris to believe you could disprove history. This was a war that you didn’t have the stomach to fight. But I’m glad you tried. We bled you the same way we bled the Soviets in our Holy Land. We bled you the same way the Vietnamese bled you in their homeland. We did it patiently and deliberately. Patience. Something Westerners never learn. Our history is millennial. We don’t yearn for an early victory when the Infidel ravages our Holy Land. Our victory is celebrated decades from now. We’ve endured, then ravaged every standing military that crossed our borders. Why? How? We’re patient. In 30 days, we’ll be stronger, richer, and have control over precious natural resources that you need for your pathetic life dictated by comfort. We will have women, riches, land, guns, and ownership of one of the greatest chapters in military history. You lose. If you want to try again, we welcome the challenge. You will fail regardless of how much money you burn in our deserts. For pity, here is free advice that may contribute to your future success, should you ever decide to invade again. You recruit your warriors and supporters from a drug-addicted, distracted, disillusioned population that’s obsessed with comfort and entertainment. A population obsessed with altering their mundane reality. Alcohol, marijuana, pills, and our new favorite -- Tide Pods. Every time your doctors prescribe opiate painkillers, you line our coffers with gold. Your population’s thirst for our pristine heroin has never been more lucrative for our warrior tribes. We will keep feeding you poison for as long as you keep your hands out. If your population wasn’t so spineless, undisciplined, and self-loathing, then you might be able to compile a raiding party with enough tenacity to outthink ours. Our fighters are born into war and raised in it. It’s a way of life that evades your “first world” nations. They live a life of such immense misery and pain that they’re willing to fight barefoot in the snow for the opportunity to martyr themselves. They yearn for the opportunity to die. When they do have the blessed opportunity to sacrifice themselves, they sit above Mohammed at the right hand of God. Blessed in Allah for eternity What honors do your fighters receive? You remember their empty sacrifice with a “three day weekend.” The majority of your population uses this sacred time to get drunk and grow fatter as a way to celebrate their fallen warriors. Sadly, we pay tribute to their death more honorably. The colored pieces of cloth you pin on their chests are similar to the jewelry worn by our women. What good are accolades and vanity if you don’t have the stomach to endure a fight? We don’t offer the burden of healthcare to our fighters as they often want to die for Allah. Your fighters fight to live. Their inability to reconcile the inevitable outcome of our patience leads them to kill themselves. Your medications, counselors, and non-profits will never undo the pain and suffering you’ve forced them to endure. It will never remove the pain we’ve caused your broken nation. You are your own worst enemy. We will give your fighters credit. Some are creative, tenacious, and fierce. They outgun us in every way possible. But again, we simply wait them out. Allah is patient. You cycle them through our Holy Lands every 3 to 12 months for their combat rotations. After their tour is complete, they return to the comfort of their warm beds and endless entertainment. If you left them here, in our Holy Land, with no way out but to win, then you might of have had a chance of success. The longer you poisoned our Holy Land with your presence, your “rules of engagement” only strengthened our position. There is only one rule in war - that is to win. Your commanders made you fight with your hands tied behind your back. Your rules also confused our fighters too. “We’re clearly the enemy; why are they letting us go?” Thank you for your compassion, as it allowed our fighters to kill more Infidels. We began to feel as if your commanders were on our side. We’re thankful your most vicious dogs were never allowed off their leash. Your showcase Generals make us laugh. You spend millions of dollars flying them around our country, inventing new ways to win while ignoring the guidance of our most capable foes. Your Generals make decisions to minimize risk to their fragile reputation with the ultimate goal of securing a lucrative retirement--jobs with suppliers that fuel your losing force. A self-serving circle built on the backs of your youngest and most naive fighters. Your retired Generals “earn” tens of thousands of dollars talking to your political, industrial, and financial leaders about “teams, winning, and discipline.” It’s a mockery of the war they refused to fight. It’s a mockery of the Infidel warriors who died in our lands. We urge you to continue following their vacuous personalities so we can further watch your once great nation collapse. Your statesman and elected officials are spineless, narcissistic, and more cowardly than your Generals. They crave power over you above all else. They come to our country, hide behind blast walls, and only heed the word of the indigenous leader they put in power. I believe your soldiers call this a “self-licking ice cream cone.” They’ve burned billions of dollars in a wasted effort to bring clean water, electricity, business, education, agriculture, and exports to a region that didn’t ask for it. You should have saved yourself the effort and simply given the money directly to us. Don’t worry; your diplomatic friends gave us plenty of your American tax dollars. If you want to give it another shot with your “soft power,” send those with real experience, not fancy degrees and silver tongues. Over the next few months, we will make the world understand that you failed worse than any fighting force that’s ever invaded our lands. Today we celebrate victory. As you evacuate your embassy, our fighters will be standing in the shade. Our RPG marksmen will be patient. We thank you for the parting gifts. You’ll find surface-to-air missiles staged in the back of Toyota pickup trucks that you purchased for us. We saw what Extortion 17 did to your nation and the morale of your fighting force. Do your citizens even remember that victory? We’ll be repeating and improving upon our victory while your citizens and sympathizers evacuate in disgrace. Every one of your foes around the world will know exactly how to break you. You are welcome to fly your empty drones, target our cell phones, and send your spies. But they, too, will ultimately fail. We’ll use their failures to show the world that you’re not all-powerful. You’re a false front—an empty shell. You lie, cheat, steal, and are easily defeated because you lack the spine to fight. This is your history now. We’re grateful Allah gave us the opportunity to show the world how to defeat the Infidels. We look forward to seeing you again across the battlefield. Praise be to God The Taliban ***Authors’ Note*** If you’ve read this far. Thank you. We’ve spent the past week trying to find a way to communicate this to the American people in a manner that would cause anger, rage, action, and understanding. Writing in the voice of a Taliban fighter felt right. If this made you angry, cry, or contemplative--then our goal is achieved. Our hope is that it inspires you to take action with your elected officials. They’ve been repeating the same failing playbook since World War II with your sons, daughters, and tax dollars. If you want this to keep happening, do nothing. If you don’t, then do something. If we all do a little, together we do a lot. A Grateful American |
Seeing pictures of the dogs in crates, with scattered empty water bottles and kibble all around the floor gives me the impression that someone, (likely troops) hastily fed and watered them. Yeah, given the absolute depth of the shit show and all the information we have, I am a believer that those dogs were left, when their was means to get them out of there. In the end, I do not care if they were or were not U.S. Military working dogs, or contractor dogs or just strays rounded up. Just like a child you find wandering on the tarmac, you gonna leave them because you do not know if that child is a U.S. citizen, the child of a U.S. citizen, the child of a "contractor", or an Afghan that helped the U.S. Military, or even the child of a Taliban or ISISpecialK? You put that child on an airplane. That is what you do. There were enough opportunities to get those dogs on planes. And I bet there would have been thousands of people disappointed that there were not enough dogs to be "adopted" by Americans alone, should the call have gone out. The same taxpayers that have been bled of money for the most asinine of programs, would have gladly tossed in money to the pot to pay whatever it took to help get those dogs out or "re0imberse" for that effort. Someone there, who could have given the directive to move those dogs, chose to leave them. That SOB, needs to hear dogs whine in his sleep, every night for the rest of his despicable life. The dogs are the "window" into the reality that people, our people, were left behind, and that those in leadership see all Americans as dogs. They would just as soon, cage us and leave us. The dogs have no voice, they did not choose their fate, people chose for them. That's why this is different. "A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel." Proverbs 12:10 Read that, think about what it means. Seriously. This was posted a few times p7, p19....IG blocked it from Grif's page, fortunately, it was shared enough that it could be pushed out to everyone. The accompanying picture that Grif had was poignant, as it was of a light-eyed, square-jawed majhadeen fighter with an RPG. Goat heading, boy fucker possibly, but also a resilient, pragmatic and deeply religious figure, whom Western corporate, political and military leaders have a hard time understanding other than derisive & dismissive comments.

'This Is Ransom': White House Mulling Direct Foreign Aid To The Taliban Is this what America's "extraordinary success" in Afghanistan looks like? (In the words of President Biden on Tuesday). White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan has offered blunt confirmation in a Wednesday "Good Morning America" interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos that the United States won't rule out giving aid directly to the Taliban regime in Kabul. A somewhat incredulous looking Stephanopoulos questioned, "We're gonna work with the Taliban... does that include the prospect of giving them aid?" Sullivan without missing a beat responded of the group which was long widely condemned as a terror organization after 9/11: "Well first of all we do believe that there is an important dimension of humanitarian assistance that should go directly to the people of Afghanistan..." "We do intend to continue that." Sullivan then actually used the unsettling phrase "our economic and development assistance relationship" with the Taliban. He continued: Secondly, when it comes to our economic and development assistance relationship with the Taliban, that will be about the Taliban's actions. It will be about whether they following through on their commitments, Their commitments to safe passage for Americans and Afghan allies. Their commitment to not allow Afghanistan to be a base from which terrorists can attack the United States." ...It’s going to be up to them, and we will wait and see by their actions how we end up responding in terms of the economic and developmental assistance relationship." The subtext here is the 'plan B' after the US administration is confirmed to have left many Americans behind, with estimates ranging from a couple hundred to multiple hundreds still trapped in the war-torn country. Plan B appears to be to literally bribe the Taliban into allowing safe-passage for remaining Americans and local allies in the form of foreign aid, or essentially ransom money. Sullivan later in the interview tried to clarify that "It’s not going to flow through the Taliban." "As you know, George, when we send humanitarian assistance to countries, we do so through … international institutions like the World Health Organization or the World Food Program, and we do so through a nongovernmental organization who, George, are still operating on the ground in Afghanistan as we speak. It will not flow through the government." However he clearly laid out that depending on the Taliban's "actions" and 'good behavior' - aid may eventually go to them. "It's going to be up to them," he said. At the same time it must be remembered that some top Taliban officials remain on Washington's 'most wanted' terrorists lists, literally with bounties on their heads. _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." Biden has order history to be erased. Biden Administration Erased Afghan Weapons Reports From Federal Websites According to an admission obtained from the State Department, Biden officials recently directed federal agencies to scrub their websites of official reports detailing the $82.9 billion in military equipment and training provided to the Afghan security forces since 2001. The State Department admitted to removing the reports but justified the move as a way to protect Afghan allies. According to a spokesperson: Full details at link. Biden Administration Erased Afghan Weapons Reports From Federal Websites https://www.zerohedge.com/geop...rts-federal-websites The War in Afghanistan has always been a black box, but the Biden administration just made matters worse. According to an admission obtained from the State Department, Biden officials recently directed federal agencies to scrub their websites of official reports detailing the $82.9 billion in military equipment and training provided to the Afghan security forces since 2001. The scrubbed audits and reports included detailed accounting of what the U.S. had provided to Afghan forces, down to the number of night vision devices, hand grenades, Black Hawk helicopters, and armored vehicles. Reports further quantified 208 aircraft and helicopters; 75,000 war vehicles – including 22 Humvees, 50,000 tactical vehicles and nearly 1,000 mine resistant vehicles; and 600,000 weapons – including 350,000 M4 and M16 rifles, 60,000 machine guns, and 25,000 grenade launchers. The State Department admitted to removing the reports but justified the move as a way to protect Afghan allies. According to a spokesperson: “The safety of our Afghan contacts is of utmost importance to us. The State Department advised other federal agencies of to [sic] review their web properties for content that highlights cooperation/participation between an Afghan citizen and the USG or a USG partner and remove from public view if it poses a security risk.” It’s worth noting that the Biden administration already put these partners at risk when officials provided lists of Afghan nationals to the Taliban in a misguided attempt to clear them for evacuation. The Taliban, a known terrorist organization with a history of murdering Afghan citizens working alongside U.S. forces, should never have been trusted with those names. In addition, many of the removed audit reports merely quantified military equipment without identifying personnel. Here are two important examples: Government Accountability Office (GAO): OpenTheBooks.com reposted an audit of U.S. provided military gear in Afghanistan (August 2017) after it was removed from its official location. Special Inspector General For Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR): OpenTheBooks.com reposted an audit of $174 million in lost ScanEagle drones (July 2020) after the report was removed from its official location. U.S. taxpayers paid for these audits and the U.S.-provided equipment, and citizens should be able to follow the money and hold the Biden administration accountable. A GAO spokesperson also confirmed in a request for comment its receipt of the directive: “the State Department requested we temporarily remove and review reports on Afghanistan to protect recipients of US assistance that may be identified through our reports and thus subject to retribution.” One deleted GAO report was four years old and quantified U.S.-provided gear into Afghanistan between 2003 and 2016. It was delivered to the House Armed Services Committee on August 10, 2017. The report was pulled down only hours after we, and other news outlets like Sinclair Broadcast Group, highlighted the report’s existence. A spokesperson for SIGAR also admitted via a request for comment that the agency pulled reports offline. “In recent days, some SIGAR reports have been temporarily removed from the agency’s public website due to ongoing security concerns in accordance with guidance received from the U.S. Department of State. This is in line with actions taken by other U.S. federal agencies and is out of an abundance of caution.” Again, to reiterate, these reports do not include recipient information, and the Taliban already likely controls the war chest in question. This directive doesn’t seem to be designed to protect our Afghan allies—or, if it is, it’s been poorly executed. One U.S. entity that we will not name has failed to remove a report detailing the Afghan forces by rank. That report, one could argue, could be used as a tally sheet for retribution, but it’s still publicly available. Here’s another example. One federal report did not include personnel info, but it did include the face of an Afghan pilot sitting in a U.S. Black Hawk helicopter. When we highlighted the report, we flagged the photo to an agency spokesman and chose not to post a link to protect the pilot’s safety. The report has remained online, but since we contacted the spokesman, the photo has been removed. If the Trump administration started vanishing government reports and justifying their actions with weak, obviously political excuses, can anyone with a straight face say it wouldn’t lead the nightly news? _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." Reps need to be filing for FOI and lawsuits etc, to prevent destruction of evidence. Perhaps I just suck at math, but the claim we got ~5,500 Americans out and that was supposedly 90% of those who "wanted to get out"... how can the remainder be only 100-200? They keep throwing these numbers out, and they make no sense, which of course they won't, because they're LYING. hint: 90% of 6111 is 5500, which would actually leave 611 __________________________________ NRA Benefactor I lost all my weapons in a boating, umm, accident. http://www.aufamily.com/forums/
