Glenmorangie Taghta tonight. Just a taste as my wife got me 2 bottles for Christmas, but she wanted me to see how I liked it and decide if we should try to find some more. It's very tasty. Based solely upon flavor, it's some of the tastiest Scotch I've had. Not quite as mellow as I expected but that's not a bad thing. I'm thinking I'll look for some more.

Glenfarclas 40! It's amazing. I didn't spend 560$, I started buying drinks by the dram from masterofmalt.com. Oldest scotch I've had. I was surprised what a difference there is.

I enjoyed a shot of Pelinkovac. Somewhat thick and syrupy, most folks either love or downright hate it.
Usually described as either cinnamon or licorice in taste.

To the Winner goes the spoils.

I am in a 6 team Fantasy Football league where we play for scotch. Needless to say, I will gloat that I won. If you win the season, you get 5 bottles from the other members, all new, and the price point depends on how you finished.
2nd Place - Auchentoshan American Oak
3rd Place - Glenmorangie Gift Set
4th Place - Compass Box Oak Cross
5th Place - Glengoyne 17 Year Old (I picked this out of his collection)
6th Place - Has not shown yet, but the bogie was $95, and he has to host the draft next year, or the superbowl party this year. When he asked me what I wanted I told him either A) Springbank 15 B) Macallan Sienna, C) Glengoyne 18 or D) Glenmorangie Taghta. Can't wait to see what shows up!

Unfortunately, I'm on antibiotics and can't drink for the next 2 days! Frown
