Had Big Rock Brewery's Grasshopper Wheat Ale at the hotel's bar. It's a kristalweizen so it's pretty boring cuz they filtered out all of the good stuff from hefeweizen.

Shiner Holiday Cheer. It is a dunkelweizen, with some peach flavor added. It is a little too flavored and sweet for me, but my son likes it.




The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

Had a small pour of Kirkland 18 Single Malt (not really sure who distilled it).

Followed it up by a generous pour of Kilchoman Port Cask. It's only 3 years old, and wow, talk about some complex flavors I'm getting from it. Can't say it's my favorite Kilchoman, but certainly the most interesting.


I'm a deplorable.
