I had never tried Icelandic beer and noticed it at the store so picked some up to try. The porter was VERY good!

Sam Adams Chocolate Bock and Hopflake White IPA.

Subtle, dark cocoa. Very tasty.

The IPA, eh, a bit too evergreen for me.

Tried Brandy for the first time. E J XO (6 year). Just felt like something sweeter tonight, and it hit the spot on a cold night.

Guinness Brewers Project Rye Pale Ale and Milk Stout. And since I had to get up and check the labels, I am trying the third variety in the pack, the Golden Ale.

The Milk Stout was very tasty.

Good, not great. Glad I tried it, as I like stouts and porters, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Another score at the Alchemist in VT. They have some strong stouts. Not sure if this will be a regular offering or not.
