From the outside looking in, I wish Laura would have ignored the media hype and not apologized to Camera Hogg. She's a strong, smart woman so the pressure must have been too much or she got some bad advise. Hopefully, she'll be able to keep her radio show because things aren't looking too good for her at FOX...given their track record. Has it gotten that easy for the libs that a 17 year old, still wet behind the ears, can take down someone the likes of Laura Ingraham over the word, "whine"?

They have been screaming about the children for as long as I can remember.

Use their tactics against them. If a person with a gun can save only one child/ person, it's worth it!

Yes, it is. But the so-called education systems in this country have been working towards this for decades.

What will it take to correct this shituation?

Never give in — never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.

This man knows. The battle is won by action. Press the advantage. Never fall back. I was always taught that if you had the time to realize you were in an ambush, you were already dead.

"Seek out, close with, and destroy the enemy by fire and manuver."

As conservatives we need to hold the line. This too will pass. We need to stay resolute. (And yes I get weak sometimes reading headlines)

We are on the correct side, history proves that out. And we will win.

Florida school students stage walkout in support of Second Amendment

A group of students at a Central Florida high school walked out of class Friday as part of a protest in support of the Second Amendment.

Some of the students who participated in the walkout at Rockledge High School told WFTV that when the movement to honor the victims and survivors of the shooting in Parkland became political, they felt silenced.

“I’m pro-Second Amendment,” Rockledge junior and protest organizer Anna Delaney told the station. "I wouldn’t mind deeper background checks, of course, but the Second Amendment will not be infringed upon.”

Many Rockledge students walked out of class March 14 as part of the National School Walkout that was held in support of the Parkland school shooting victims and to protest gun violence and call for new gun control measures. They stood on the football field and formed a huge heart.

About 75 students participated in Friday’s walkout at Rockledge, Florida Today reported. The protest lasted 20 minutes.

They walked onto the schools track carrying the American flag and signs that said “guns don’t kill people, people kill people” and “I support the right to bear arms,” the paper reported. Some wore Trump “Make America Great Again” hats and camouflage clothing.

“We were built on certain rights and that was one of the original rights, that we should have the right to bear arms,” sophomore Chloe Deaton told the group. She helped Delaney organize the walkout.

Zachary Schneider, a junior, was quoted by the paper as saying, “It’s all over the news right now that all students hate guns. I wanted to show that not all students feel that way.”

Rockledge principal Vickie Hickey said the school treated the Second Amendment walkout exactly like it treated the walkout that took place two weeks ago, the paper reported.

She said both events were completely student-driven.

I like Laura Ingraham. But even if I didn't I don't want to see this slimeball leftist, Hogg Hitler, get away with calling for a boycott of her advertisers and taking her down.
She did NOTHING wrong. Mad

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Whatever happens with Laura and her shows, I bet the Trump administration would offer her a job in a heartbeat if it came to something drastic and unfortunate. Funny how the angry younglings only want to play in the grown up sandbox until they get a little dirt kicked in their eye. Then it's back to being a sensitive child, whining, complaining, and seeking their safe spaces and apologies. Either you're an adult, or your not. The truth hurts sometimes. There is a reason colleges and universities are NOT beating down his door (unlike the leftist media and manipulators) looking to be part of the short-lived Hogg warts express to nowhere and irrelevance. If anything, he has only strengthened the arguments and positions most of us have for our 2nd Amendment rights and made the leftist agenda clear and evident to those still giving the younglings the benefit of the doubt.

Agreed.

They want mob rule and decisions based on emotion & untouchable victims words rather than by facts.

A great reason for the 2A is when a mob with torches and pitchforks shows up at your door.

Thanks man. I'm trying. The lat year made me kinda rethink my life. I am not very good at it yet so I am still an asshole too much but it is a work in progress.

Recent events are hard for me to grasp. It is like I am living in Bizarro World. Conservatives are, as a group, more reasonable, more intelligent and stronger than liberals. But liberals have control of way too much. Not just media, but control of major corporations too. Not just the tech companies but companies like Delta are willing to dump the NRA and donate planes to the stupid kids to fly them to their little hate march.

They are far better organized and are willing to do whatever it takes to reach kids. Honestly I think they are willing to accept reality and adapt to it more than we are. how many of us on this forum use Instagram, Facebook and other social media platforms to get our pro-gun message out? The liberals do. They are masters at it and like it or not teenagers are not coming to SigForum to get their news. They go to comedy central and Facebook. We also need to be willing to speak up. I am guilty of letting liberals run their mouths on social media without fighting back because I have a job and value it. I don't want to piss anyone off that might have influence over my career. But we have to start taking some risks and not letting liberals go unchallenged when they preach hate and lies.

I want to fight this fight with votes and words but in order to do that every one of us needs to find ways to reach more young voters. We can't tell them how to find us. We have to be willing to find them and show them our side of the coin. We have not lost total control yet but we are losing it.

I thought there were people who sell advertising for broadcast/cable tv concerns. How hard is it to find advertisers who want to reach Ingraham's audience? Is Fox News even trying? They knew who Ingraham was when they gave her a show.

Ingraham should have doubled down and let the chips fall where they may. Her biggest problem is she is as inside-the-Beltway as anyone, bends over backwards to maintain cordial relationships with many awful people. It's biting her ass big time now.

In the past, I have occasionally winced when Ted Nugent would open his mouth, but this time, I applaud him. Seems the media is giving Nugent a hard time about his statements. Fuck these kids. And I'd bet money he will not apologize for jack shit.

quote:
"Ted Nugent isn't holding back his thoughts on those protesting against the National Rifle Association, including the Parkland shooting survivors.

During The Joe Pags Show Friday, the longtime rocker and NRA board of directors member slammed what he calls "the poor, mushy brained children," who organized the March for Our Lives on March 24, which advocated for tighter gun control.

"The dumbing down of America is manifested in the culture deprivation of our academia that have taught these kids the lies, media that have prodded and encouraged and provided these kids lies. I really feel sorry for them because it’s not only ignorant and dangerously stupid, but it’s soulless," Nugent said.

He added, "to attack the good law-abiding families of America when well known predictable murderers commit these horrors is deep in the category of soulless. These poor children, I’m afraid to say this and it hurts me to say this, but the evidence is irrefutable, they have no soul... These children can't be critical of any of the propaganda that they're fed and that's just sad."

He also defended the NRA itself after Pags played a clip of Emma Gonzalez, one of the march organizers, speaking to CNN about politicians accepting "blood money" from the gun rights organization.

"The level of ignorance goes beyond stupidity. Again, the National Rifle Association are a bunch of American families who have a voice to stand up for our God-given Constitutionally-guaranteed right to keep and bear arms. We have no blood on our hands," Nugent said. "No NRA member have ever been involved in any mass shootings at all, in fact the National Rifle Association is the lone organization that has taught firearm safety in schools, and for law enforcement, and for military, and for children's organizations and family organizations around the country for 100 years. So once again, this poor pathetic individual is a liar."

I’ve been thinking about what we can do and I’ve decided that I am going to call these guys. Every single day.

We should all call them. Every day. If enough people call these companies reservations and CS lines and express their displeasure we could create a mess for them. We can push wait times way out. Think about 100,000 people calling Delta during a bad storm when they’ve cancelled hundreds of flights to voice their displeasure over their taking sides. Tying up CS agents when they are at their busiest.

This is what the left does. They make themselves impossible to ignore. We always bitch that we can’t go out and protest because we have jobs. That’s true, but we can all make a phone call or two. I’m not going to be rude or lie about my intent to take up more time. I’m just going to tell the agent that I am the NRA an I don’t appreciate being called a murderer and that I’ll protest against any company who supports that message. And that this is my form of protest.
