The 55-year-old Peterson, a Broward deputy for 32 years, was paid $101,879.03 last year — $75,673.72 in base salary plus overtime and other compensation, according to sheriff’s office records.

Peterson’s pension payments are based on the total number of years he worked and the average of his five highest-paid fiscal years, according to a state pension handbook.

I was assuming that he retired this year,(2018) and hence had a salary bump over last years salary (2017) which was the most recent record available. The $104,428.20 yearly pension amount is exactly 2.5% more than his 2017 salary, which is a typical yearly merit percentage increase.

So it looks like his pension awarded 100% of his final 2018 yearly salary.

Almost sounds like they want to keep him real happy, doesn’t it? I wonder why? I wonder what might come out about their little diversion program if he hadn’t been offered such a wonderful pension? Kinda makes it seem like there’s more to look into, there....

Peterson, the Sun-Sentinel reported, has received a monthly state pension of $8,702.35 since April. He was paid $101,879.03 last year, according to the news outlet, which cited sheriff's office records.

That's a yearly pension of $104,428.20, which I assume was his total yearly salary at the time of retirement. Is it common for police officers to receive a pension equal to 100% of their last year salary at only the age of 55?

Not that I can speak of. I can retire at 20 years with 50% on my 65K income figured for my best three years. I can stay longer and add 2% a year for ten more years giving me totalling 70% at 30 years. My pension can't be more than 45.5K

Thanks. A 100% pension at age 55 is quite generous and seems unusual. If he lives until the average age of 78 that's a $2.4M pension.

Pro-2A Parkland student Kyle Kashuv continues to make fools of his gun-grabber classmates. I kind of feel bad for him in that he's totally engrossed in almost 24/7 twitter combat at this point, but he's gotten quite good at it.

Nope, ignoramuses denotes they simply do not have the knowledge they need to make decisions and as such, are stupid. That's obviously not the case.
As such, these people are more aptly described as mentally ill morons who have no capacity whatsoever for rational thought.

Understandable. After all, Planned Parenthood actually is responsible for the deaths of thousands of children a year.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

And the glorification of this little psycho continues. I'm not going to link to it or even mention it, but take a look at the Foxnews website right now.

What have we been talking about? Anonymizing these little psychos? Just take a look. Can't pass up good tabloid material, can we Fox? No sir, can't have that when there's a penny to be made.

And oh, hey, wasn't it about time for another story about Scott Peterson? Sure, you can find a recent mugshot of the guy on the Foxnews site. A couple of weeks ago, we had another DB Cooper story. Give 'em a month or two and they'll have Amelia Earhart back up on their page.

And oh, it's been at least a week since we had a non-story about the Las Vegas shooter. I guess it's time for another.

And what in the world is this stupid fucking pandering, pointless shit?:

I’m not going to give Fox a click to see these pathetic little useful idiots drone on about gun control. I’m tired of these media idiots stirring up crap and get paid for it.

When it comes to the useful idiots, they are getting paid via scholarships from whatever socialist universities will take them because of their rhetoric. If they don’t go that route, then some Marxist organization will hire them on.

Army Ranger and Benghazi survivor Kris Paronto shredded David Hogg’s attempt to blame school shootings on gun ownership.

Hogg tweeted:

Remeber a time when there wasn't a school shooting every week? I don't because I wasn't alive.

— David Hogg (@davidhogg111) May 27, 2018

Paronto responded with a tweet that showed Hogg in a vagina hat and allowed the former Army Ranger to correct the record:

I remember, it was before your generation started shooting up the schools David, even though we still had guns. Thank you for confirming..again…that it’s not the gun, it’s person, and in particular you & your peers millennial culture. @davidhogg111 #whenhoggsaysstupidshit #2A pic.twitter.com/NPf8Qsoqtt
