None. I took it seriously, changed my lifestyle to strengthen my immune system. I had the original strain and the omni. Both times without symptoms. I know for a fact I had it both times so no false positives. I lost relationships for not taking it.
I was locked out businesses, events, travel and cities because I would not take it.

You must mean January 2021.

Yes, that's correct - I made an error typing the year.

I got the two original Pfize shots plus the booster. I didn't get the latest booster.

I opted for this approach based on recommendations from my PCP and hematologist. My health is generally okay for my age but I am diagnosed with MDS which affects/lowers my blood counts putting me in a higher risk group. I had seen people that where younger than me (10-15 years younger) with lessor conditions than mine die from the first round of COVID. I was convinced had I contracted it, I would die.

Zero for me and mine.
I have some pretty strong opinions on people who would give enough trust to the entities making the "vaccine" to actually put it into their bodies but respect the right of anyone being able to make the choice.

I willingly took the first two as I work with the public and it seemed wise at the time. The first (and last) booster was to go on a long planned and twice postponed (by Celebrity) cruise to Italy.

I'm done with shots and masks. I'll donate them to Fauchi.

At age 83 and with some infirmities, I got the 2 original Moderna shots in March and April 2021. I had no side effects then and am having none now. I did not get any Boosters. So far, so good.

I work for a large gov't contractor. I was forced to get the shot and the first booster or lose my job. Had to have both by ~Dec 9, 2021. Got the first shot mid October and the booster 6 weeks later...late November. Wound up getting covid Jan 7, less than 6 weeks after I was "fully vaccinated". Roll Eyes

I have 2 boys who are now 11 & 12. They have not had any of the shots and both got covid Jan 7, 2022. One of my boys gave it to all of us. He got it from his teacher. The boys had really mild symptoms...slept 1 afternoon, and then back to their "normal" selves.

I have no plans of getting any more unless I am forced to, again.

Got the initial 2 plus booster about a year later in order to travel internationally. We both had COVID in early 2020 and the vaccine about a year later. Not concerned with getting the disease or with any potential negative outcomes from the vaccines. That said, have zero plans for the new booster.

I’m just thinking in 10 years the commercials for “If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with COVID-19 vaccination injury (CVI) you may be entitled to compensation …” are going to be in constant rotation.

If you were vaccinated keep records of when and why and if you were compelled under threat of termination from your job. Keep that with your important papers.

No doubt about it. And the same people who accepted the risk will demand that the taxpayers who chose not to pay for it.

Moderna and 2 boosters here. I work in the medical field former at a Large Hospital/College of Medicine and I have several friends their that are physicians doing medical research. I consulted with them and afterwards decided to get the jabs.

I have not had any side effects from getting jabbed.

I did have Covid June of 2022 and it was very mild with a runny nose and cough.

Personally due to my medical conditions, I'm glad I got the shots. You don't want them, good for you but I researched it and discussed it with medical professionals I trust and found it was best for me to get the jabs.

Correction: The same people who took the jabs, who vilified, threatened, coerced, mocked, insulted, and silenced those of us who did not take the jabs, will demand we pay for their injuries even though we did our best to raise the concerns of only being EUA, of shabby clinical trials, and then the increasing data on serious adverse events.

KevinCW- I view the early phase of introduction of creating an image of scarcity and that the connected, lucky and elite were the ones getting it, was part of the early psyops phase of getting as many to take it as possible. We had a thread here on people who supposedly got shots without waiting their turn, and as such, we became part of this psyops campaign.

Allow me to rephrase/clarify...

I don't know, and don't really care, about the timetable. No offense, I took what was offerred. As an extrovert, I was absolutely DONE with being kept indoors. I did my research (which I may have drawn different opinions than other, but that's the beauty of this county, I can have my beliefs and they can have theirs) and made my decision.) I got one.

After that, it was a weird situation. I had my shots and my wife did not. I love my wife and want to be together with her more often than not. We missed doing things together. So we looked around for ways she could ALSO get a vaccine since at this time, options were limited. I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT use any type of clout or government privilege to get her one. We called around. At this time there were 5 to 6 doses per vial and it ended up with appointments they sometimes have doses left over after appointments. We called and called, and one day we found a place that at closing time was going to have extra, unspoken for shots. We got her one.

Sorry if i seem prickly about it. I've seen SO MUCH bullshit about it STILL perpetuated online. People with ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE, but taking the line of "I got a hangnail 3 weeks after the vaccine and that HAS to be the cause of it" (yes, that's hyperbole).

Either way, I'm fine, my family is fine, and I'm done. Hope this all gets the back burner now that 3 years later it isn't that big of a deal (thanks to modern medicine.)

I don't think anyone is accusing you of using your position to get one.
I understand. My wife was early to the vaccine party as well, working for a hospital. I had the same opportunity your wife had early on to take an extra dose. But I declined.

The issue many of us have who declined is being vilified for our choice. It should be an individual choice, freely made by informed consent and not coerced by anyone else be it employer or government.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I admire my friends that have held firm to their position, either way, but in particular the ones who refused to get the vaccine. I think of them every time their decision is affirmed by the truth coming out.

No shots here, was willing to give up my job over it if it came to it and it almost got to that point.

I spent 8 days in the hospital with COVID, a couple of Doctors tried to tell me I was there due to not taking the shots as Nurses were saying most in that ward were fully “vaccinated”.

I received Moderna in Feb 2021, and second dose in March of 21.

I did a moderna booster on 7 Dec 21.

I did a second moderna booster September of 22...

I have not had Covid. I did have poor reactions to all but first dose of Moderna, so count 3-5 days total of feeling like crap after vax.

My family is huge anti vaxxers... Brother has had Covid 3 times, His family and my folks have all had covid 2 times...

I sat next to family member that had Covid unknowingly Christmas of 21... I lucked out and didnt get it...

Is the vaccine effective... For me, yes, it seems to be...

Does that mean it is best for everyone?

No, I believe it is a personal option.

Work required first doses, I did boosters because my MIL was living with us.

I understand there is lots of information on all sides that supports all sides and it is incredibly confusing what is actually what.

For me, and my experience, I have gotten very lucky, or the vaccine has been at least partially effective.
