4D Space Chess: Elon Musk Switches Back To Democratic Party, Harrassment Accusations Immediately Withdrawn

https://babylonbee.com/news/ni...accusation-withdrawn

Talk about a 4D space chess move: Elon Musk has just announced he is returning to the Democratic Party just days after he moved over to the Republican Party. As soon as he made the switch back to the liberal political party, the sexual harassment allegation published by the media was withdrawn, the accuser apologized, and Musk was granted $30 million in reparations for the "false and damaging" claim against the "wonderful humanitarian and champion of the Democratic cause."

Clever. Genius. An impeccable move! Musk said he came up with the idea after watching the accusations come out against Brett Kavanaugh and realized he could simply switch parties back to get rid of the negative press coverage.

"Elon Musk clearly did this terrible thing because he's now a member of the political party opposite me," said one CNN anchor. "Wait a minute -- breaking news! It appears Elon Musk has switched back to the Democratic Party. Coming up after the break, we dive into the old tweets of the accuser and explain why she may be a Nazi."

"Plus, we air a special report on how you should only believe some women, replacing the previously announced segment on how you need to believe all women."

A special investigative report also backed up Musk's strategy, finding that switching to the Republican Party increased one's chances of an old sexual harassment allegation getting suddenly published in every major newspaper on the planet.

At publishing time, Musk had switched to the Libertarian party so that everyone would just ignore him and roll their eyes while he smokes weed and rants about Bitcoin.

Bill Gates Poured Millions into Dark Money Fund Attacking Elon Musk

Research exclusively shared with Breitbart News identifies hundreds of millions of dollars flowing from Bill Gates’ foundation to 11 of the 26 organizations that signed an open letter last month urging Twitter advertisers to boycott the company if Elon Musk restores free speech on the platform.

Breitbart News’ report, based on research and analysis from the newly-formed Foundation for Freedom Online (FFO), analyzed public filings to trace hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions from the letter signatories back to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Last month, Gates revealed his $500 million short position against Musk-owned Tesla
Gates is also an outspoken censorship proponent, frequently calling on tech companies to do more to stop “health misinformation” spreading online.

Musk threatens to reverse Gates’ strongly desired censorship policies — and now faces the wrath of Gates-funded NGOs.

Recently, Musk asked his 94 million Twitter followers to uncover the funding behind the 26 NGOs who signed an intimidation letter threatening to destroy the company’s advertising revenue if Musk reversed its censorship policies.

Musk followed up his request by highlighting one particular shadowy group, Accountable Tech, musing: “I wonder who funds them”.

His curiosity was prompted by a Washington Free Beacon investigation into Accountable Tech, which sought to get to the bottom of the nonprofit’s financial sponsorship. The Free Beacon visited Accountable Tech’s corporate office in Washington and concluded the organization doesn’t “actually exist.”

Rather, “Accountable Tech” was merely a “registered trade [name] for the North Fund, a shape-shifting nonprofit group that uses aliases to push an array of left-wing causes from a shell office in Washington, D.C.”

New Venture Fund’s dark money funding is this: it is backed by hundreds of millions of dollars from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Influence Watch reports $126 million in 2020, while FFO corroborated at least $85 million that year from public records. Per FFO, Gates funding dropped all the way down to $11 million for 2021, after the 2020 election cycle ended.

The sharp pullback in funding after the 2020 election makes sense, given the political nature of the New Venture Fund’s work. It is the parent organization for what has been described as one of the largest pro-Democrat dark money groups in America

Sixteen Thirty Fund was a major player in the 2018 midterm elections, but played an even more significant role in the 2020 cycle, spending roughly $60 million funding the most prominent pro-Joe Biden super PACs, including seven-figure donations to Future Forward USA, League of Conservation Voters Action Fund, Take Back 2020, Priorities USA, Unite The Country, American Bridge, America’s Progressive Promise, Pacronym and other groups that spent hundreds of millions of dollars combined on anti-Trump and pro-Biden ads. The Republican-led anti-Trump group the Lincoln Project received $300,000 from Sixteen Thirty Fund in 2020.

That means Gates’s biggest one-year act of “charity” in more than half a decade – while running the world’s largest “philanthropy” network – was functionally a pass-through payoff to surrogates of the Joe Biden 2020 presidential election campaign.

So much for ending AIDS, world hunger, and disease — by the numbers, the Gates Foundation’s top priority seems to be electing Democrats.

It sounds like Gates is more than a little concerned that his dealings are potentially going to be exposed in a big way on a platform that up until Musk got involved with it would have censored said information out of the public eye. I’d say the asshole is feeling the heat and doesn’t like how it feels.

One Step Closer: Elon Musk’s Twitter Takeover Clears Federal Antitrust Review

By Julian Conradson
Published June 5, 2022 at 6:06pm

On Friday, Elon Musk moved one step closer to completing his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter after the highly-publicized takeover deal officially cleared the federal regulatory waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act (HSR) of 1976.

Immediately after announcing his planned acquisition of the influential Big Tech platform, Federal regulators opened a review, as is required by law when transactions of this caliber are processed. The review involved officials from the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), who had the authority to request additional records about the transaction in order to assess its legality, but regulators did not request any additional information, according to Fox Business.

From Fox Business:

“The HSR requires companies to give advance notice of transactions above a certain threshold to the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice. The agencies have 30 days from the notification to pursue an initial investigation of the transaction to determine whether additional information is needed to assess its legality. Neither agency requested additional information.”

In short, the 30-day review was unable to pinpoint any reason to prevent Musk from purchasing Twitter, which clears the billionaire Tesla founder – federally – to move ahead with his purchase, but he still has several other hurdles to clear in order to finalize the takeover.

The main one is the final approval of the deal from Twitter’s current shareholders and board, in addition to any other remaining “regulatory approvals,” according to a statement by Twitter.

Nevertheless, now that Musk has passed the FTC and DOJ tests, the deal is expected to be finalized sometime before the end of 2022.

Awesome. For once news outlets might have to actually give accurate un-biased news instead of all this one sided nonsense.

Yeah, Elon’s sense of humor and ability to mock their heavy handed, humorless censorship is on point.

This is also promising. JBP = Jordan Peterson

Sounds like Musk is pulling the plug on this deal. Twatter stock tanks in 3... 2... 1...

Elon Musk officially tries to bail on buying Twitter

quote:

Elon Musk is officially trying to pull out of his $44 billion agreement to purchase Twitter. In a filing Friday afternoon, Musk’s team claimed that he was backing out of the deal because Twitter was in “material breach” of their agreement and had made “false and misleading” statements during negotiations.

“For nearly two months, Mr. Musk has sought the data and information necessary to ‘make an independent assessment of the prevalence of fake or spam accounts on Twitter’s platform,’” Musk’s team writes. “Twitter has failed or refused to provide this information.”

Musk has been setting the stage to abandon the deal since just weeks after he signed the agreement, claiming that Twitter released misleading stats about the prevalence of spam bots on its platform. It’s entirely unclear, however, that Musk can legally abandon his agreement simply because he isn’t happy about the presence of spam on Twitter — something he could have investigated prior to signing the deal.

Twitter has gone to great lengths to show compliance with Musk’s requests. In early June, the company opened up “firehose” access to its service so that Musk could receive and analyze every tweet as it’s posted. The company has also continuously tried to reassure the public that it has spam and bots under control. On Thursday, it told press that it was blocking over a million spam accounts per day, and in May its CEO wrote a long thread about how Twitter determines how many of its users are bots.

It’s incumbent that Musk prove that Twitter has breached their agreement, as he can’t just pull out the signed agreement because he feels like it. The deal was a potentially lucrative one for Twitter shareholders, offering $54.20 per share, up from the $36.81 it closed at today. There’s also $1 billion on the line as a breakup fee that will be paid by the party at fault.

Developing...

The tech entrepreneur cites ‘material breach of multiple provisions’ of the agreement

Elon Musk says he is terminating his agreement to buy Twitter Inc., TWTR -5.10%▼ saying the company “is in material breach of multiple provisions of that agreement” and appears to have made “false and misleading representations” when entering into the agreement, according to a regulatory filing Friday.

He was never serious about buying anyway. He just shot off his mouth, like he always does, but didn’t do any due diligence, which would have found this out early on. He says and does things just because he can, and doesn’t worry about the consequences. He screwed up, Twitter stock dropped, and instead of being a good deal, the stock dropped, making it a big loser for him, so he had to pull out. But ultimately, he really doesn’t care.

Hold up on that car wash. Twitter’s stock price dropped because he exposed the facts that Twitter is filled with bots and is ultra left leaning.

He is a genius.

Oh bullshit Roll Eyes

The guy put up billions of his own money.

He repeatedly asked Twitter to truthfully disclose the TRUE number of spam/bot/phony accounts and they won’t do it because they know it’s FAR more than the “10%” they had claimed.

You jealous of the guy or something?
