What's that saying, 'a conservative is a liberal who's been mugged' I've got several friends who were quite liberal in their younger days, definitely apart of the free-shit crowd. They got older, paid taxes and raised a family...they're rather conservative these days. Certainly sounds like Tulsi, after leaving Hawaii, spent some time in uniform and after wadding into the deep waters of national politics, had a realization that who she was political aligned with, doesn't jive any more. I have no doubt that there's many, many others who were staunch Obama voters, and over the last 8-years, are now taking a hard re-evlatuation of their political compass headings. | |||
