Well I'll tell ya', that'd be something alright. Not sure how I would feel about it, but Tulsi on the ticket might even get someone like Joe Rogan to vote for Trump.

Sort of...
Schneider has been pretty outspoken against the Dems and the Leftist agenda they've been pushing for some time. Its not a mystery why the only roles he's able to get is when his buddy Adam Sandler is the producer.

Interestingly in that circle of friends, Sandler has donated to GOP campaigns, as has good friend David Spade, who has also made donations to the police for more AR's, and Kevin James while not political, has spoken about his devotion to faith; all hot-button areas for the Left.
Chris Rock more of a libertarian as he definitely doesn't march in lock-step with the Dems and the Black-agenda, late friend Norm Macdonald while no friend of DJT, had zero hold-back when skewering Dems, particularly the lunacy of Hollywood politics, again, no surprise why his career never took off.

I listened to the entire Rogan interview. She has registered Independent. In this interview she said since Perot both parties got together to make it impossible for an Independent to get elected, so I'm assuming she isn't going to run for anything in the future. Which is a shame because I like her. But, I found her fear mongering on Russia/Ukraine will lead to total World War Three, and its all our fault because American politicians can't help but prop up the military industrial complex and enriching those folks a bit tiresome.

I don’t think anyone is asking her to join the Republican Party. The litmus test is because this is a gun centric forum and I would posit that most of us are if not single issue but several issue voters including guns. A candidates position on guns is usually telling of most their other positions I am concerned about. I don’t know many raging pro gun politicians who are also pro mass illegal immigrants and for raising taxes. And unless and until she clarifies her position now about guns and all but renounces her past position on guns among other issues I will take her less seriously.

This is not because she smoked some weed when she was 18. Or made other unwise choices many years ago. It’s because As recently as 2016 and then 2020 she was pro Bernie and Biden. This is after she’s been a military officer and been in congress and seen the way the world works. So In less than 2 years all her positions have evolved ? Sounds legit. I wish her good luck in her new Fox News show and makes a lot of money.

Point being: She's apparently been lukewarm on gun control, at worst. Hell, we've had Republicans that have been more anti-gun than her.

See, that's the worst kind of politicians, "lukewarm" and hiding, then only added her name to the Bill, when someone called her out. So, which is the real Gabbard? Answer: One that looks out for her own interest. When you were a Dem, you said all the right thing to your base. Now, you're no longer one of them, you have no choice but say the things that appeal to the opposite political spectrum, especially now that you have a new gig, is it on Fox? She might be honest on all these other issues, but when it comes to the Second Amendment, she hasn't earned my trust. Her statement on it from Dr. Goodheart's post tells me a lot. It's like "I support the Second Amendment, but there's plenty of room for gun control measures". She's one who sat with the Bloomberg Moms Demand Action group. She's one who received top rating from the Brady Bunch, and F rating from the NRA. So, tell me again, Tulsi, are you now against reinstating the AWB and against the ban of hi capacity magazines?

And sure, we all know about RINOs that voted for "gun control" in one form or another, and they are shit to me. Nothing new.

Her exact statement in 2018:

“The stakes are too high to allow politics to get in the way of Congress taking action to pass common sense gun safety legislation. I’ve cosponsored bills to close the gun show loophole, ban assault weapons, require background checks on anyone seeking to purchase a gun & more”

Don't worry, there's still time...We've yet to see this all play out!

I sort of like her.

Kind of.

Hawaii is a leftist utopia and that sort of upbringing will straight ruin a person.

I knew this announcement was coming down the pike eventually from her. If she registers as an independent, her political career is over. She can be a political pundit for a network, and that's about it.

I guess people can change, and maybe she registered as a Democrat in Hawaii just to get elected. I guess time will tell how she evolves on the issues.

How exactly does one "register" anything?

I've been voting for 40 years now and never once have I "registered" one way or the other.

I get my ballot and I vote for who I want.

Same here.
But that's state x state. We have open primaries so you don't register with a party.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I have to be registered Republican (or Democrat, I suppose) in Texas if I want to vote in the primaries.

Her podcast debuted on Tuesday, we'll see how her past statements have changed...or, not.

It's been four years since she made that statement, a few things that have happened that could get people to adjust their views on things, chief among them mobs of indignant American's went around torching American cities and assaulting people merely for their skin color, occupation or, social views.

Same in Michigan. But you can change that choice from election-to-election.

The purpose is to prevent people supporting Party A from voting for the most-favorable candidate in Party A and the least-favorable candidate in Party B in the same Primary.

Just to continue the drift . .

when I lived in Texas I was a registered Democrat. Because by the time the Republican primary comes through, the candidate was already chosen. So a bunch of us registered as democrat to vote in their primary. (for the exact reason ensig said Smile

I'm an R in Virginia. But when I go into the primary, they ask me whose ballot I want. I have had to jump ship since this district is hard Dem, and our useless Congressman has been challenged by AOC/Omar types that would win in November if they got the nomination. And next election, I am an R again.

Not in every state. Missouri doesn’t care and gives you the option on which party you want to vote for each election if it’s a primary.

“Former Democrat Tulsi Gabbard got an enthusiastic welcome in Las Vegas on Friday where she's campaigning for Republican Adam Laxalt in what may be the most consequential Senate race of the 2022 election cycle.

The former Hawaii congresswoman did not hesitate to tear into her former party, declaring that she turned her back on them for 'hating freedom.'

She also accused the left of 'undermining' Title IX protections against gender discrimination by supporting transgender students' participation in school sports.

Laxalt is in a dead heat with incumbent Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, who's in her first term representing Nevada and is one of the most vulnerable Democrats running for re-election.

Their race in battleground Nevada, a state President Joe Biden won in 2020, could decide which party controls the Senate for the latter half of his term. …”
