I don't care if members want to talk about the NFL. There are ongoing threads on the subject. I simply refrain from opening them.

This Super Bowl shit is different. I am disgusted by the craze-inducing spectacle of this very unimportant event. Not one speck of it do I want to see or hear about, beyond this thread.

I totally agree with Para's position on this.

I finally dropped my NFL+ about 3 weeks ago, even with the SB coming up. Couldn't take it anymore. The commentators. Reverse racism. Virtue-signaling. The lecturing, finger-pointing slogans on the fields and on the backs of helmets.

Her.

As if we all need another reason, I got an email from GOA today saying that the NFL is now involved in anti-gun politics.

The way I see it, I didn't leave the NFL. The NFL left me.

Been this way for 25 years. Not new. See my examples on the previous page

I read the previous page before posting and missed that paragraph. Thanks for the clarification and examples, as this was new to me.

First, THANKS! I stopped listining, watching or having anything to do with the National Felon League.

Second, Can this extend to Taylor Swift? I don't know her, her music ain't really my cup of tea, and I'm not talking bad about anyone that does... I'm just sick of hearing about her.

They, too, have been ruined, and on top of that, these corporations are funding the woke fuckery of the NFL.

^^^ Until people wake up, and stop doing business with those companies, the fuckery will continue.
I guess people want Fords and Coke more than supporting their morals.

It hasn't really been necessary for me to officially put her on the no-no list, but I'd rather not hear about this twit.

Personally, I think the media saturation with this bim has reached critical mass and people are tired of hearing about her.

If it were up to me, she'd be thrown into an active volcano.

I’m going to a M/C that several friends are members. Going to see them, partake in the food and ignore the televised game.

I'm still craving PBR, chips, salsa and bean dip, Super-hyped-up Bowl or not. Supposed to rain here, could be a good evening for watching The Three Stooges on DVD.

This thread will be locked tonight and remain locked until at least Monday, for what should be obvious reasons.

Woe unto the members who have failed to read this thread or even the thread title and start yammering about this national obscenity tomorrow.

Obscene is right. My wife told me that the new local sports bar is allowing patrons to reserve seats in the bar for the game. A table for two is $350. Roll Eyes
