How can you prove a ball is a MLB HR ball? are they numbered?

She could claim it was, on X date, hit by the player in the description. That's how Ebay and others work.

I wonder what people are thinking here (Gustofer, et al). The dad did things 100% right. What other lessons is he going to teach? Yelling at women on national television? Hitting women? He taught him the right lesson, he may not realize it now, but for the rest of that boy's life his dad and him can reflect back on the actual results vs dad being a badass in an imaginary scenario. Additionally the son learns how karma and public perception works. The startled jazz hands reaction is forgivable, the rest of the interaction was commendable. Jesse Sic Semper Tyrannis

The way I see it when the dad “a father who is clearly a man” is flailing his arms in more of a comical response or reaction to the Karens verbal BS. IMO he set the best possible example to his son, his family and everyone watching in the crowed. The crowd wasn’t booing the dad. They were booing the witch for her actions. The example the father set for his son and family was rewarded instantly by the crowd. Then the team when they took the time to give him the goodies that followed. They now will have WS tickets plus an RV. The skunt still has her rewards coming and they will be on going for quite awhile also. She will now be famous and not in a good way either. She may be able to change her looks but she and anyone that knows her will always know.

Tomorrow is gonna be a rough day at work for her https://x.com/JomboyMedia/stat...ll-from-young-boy%2F "I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965

Being a father to a son, I think it’s important to show him when to engage in conflict and when to walk away. Why, when, and how we fight is critical. Stepping up to every confrontation we’re invited to on other people’s terms is just idiotic. There’s the principal of the matter, and then there’s real life. ______________________________________________ "If the truth shall kill them, let them die.” Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

She should have been ejected from the stadium for getting in the other fan's face. AND the ball taken away. ____________________________ Eeewwww, don't touch it! Here, poke at it with this stick.

Be nice if the Phillies made a public official statement indicating that they don’t need nor want fans like her. And prefer that they don’t come to games. Not sure if Dad was tall enough but simply holding the ball high above her head and telling her to try to take it might have been amusing. Think of it from his point of view, he runs down HIS row to pick up a loose ball on a seat. Karen was a row above and the only way she could have reached it is basically fall down into the lower row. He takes the ball and gives it to his kid and hugs him and the next thing you know a crazy woman appears out of nowhere and starts yelling in his face. You can see he is startled and the "WTF?" look on his face. I don't think he even saw her when he was getting the ball, just focused on the ball. I don't fault his immediate reaction one bit. Then Karen won't give up and he defuses the situation rather then escalate on live TV. In the end, it worked out best for them, so how can you argue with being a better man and being rewarded for it by the team? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Lefty Sig,

How fast until she deleted all things social media and online presence? Before the game ended or less than an hour after the last pitch? Life moves pretty fast. I'm a bit late to this but IMO dad handled it right. Had he thrown her to the ground and started dropping elbows on her forehead he would have kept the ball and been arrested. His children would the be put in Child Protective Services until mom or another adult picked them up. Over a friggin' baseball? His kids got to meet a real ball player and got tons of swag. Tell me again how dad lost this "battle".

In general no, a batting practice foul ball is the same as a game ball. In certain instances yes. When a record is being approached they do have a numbering scheme to identify individual balls.
