I missed your point. His probable PTSD is related to the assault. Who he is married to is irrelevant.

I'm sure anyone that has to put up with Nancy Pelosi for a while would have PTSD. Maybe that's why he drinks so much. Wouldn't you?

SFPD will get paid $1 million per year to station officers outside Pelosi home

I hope the Pelosis will remember to thank the taxpayers for that little consideration. Not holding my breath, though.

Short. Fat. Bald. Costanzaesque. |
I'm not a Matthewmatician but that's $114 an hour. I feel like as a taxpayer I'm getting ripped off, unless there's gonna be more than one, and if that's the case I want my money back. ___________________________ He looked like an accountant or a serial-killer type. NO. Look up the definition of PTSD. PTSD is an overused term.

There is some question about whether this exchange really took place, and if so, who the participants were. One version: Nancy Astor to Winston Churchill: “If you were my husband, sir, I’d give you a dose of poison!” Churchill's response: “If I were your husband, I’d take it!” הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

Correct but it’s probly worse. Please note that starting pay for a SFPD officer is $50 an hour. That’s for a rookie, day 1 out of academy. And only goes up from there + overtime + lavish gold plated health benefits + pension contribution from city. Just 1 officer sitting in a car 24/7 in the Pelosi driveway, my guess is the SF taxpayer is net net getting rolled and 1mm is not covering it. But they are used to it, not my problem.

Nancy is clearly a shrew, which I am sure Paul knew when he married her.

Fucking assholes. This is excessive. The punishment does not fit the crime, but Democrats are so fucking special, aren't they? Yes, the man deserves prison time, but, life without parole? Outrageous. Paul Pelosi survived the attack. To take all of DePape's life from him is not justice. As someone on Twitter noted, the man who attacked Rand Paul got eight months in prison. What abject fuckery. John Hinckley got unconditional release. "I vowed to myself to fight against evil more completely and more wholeheartedly than I ever did before. . . . That’s the only way to pay back part of that vast debt, to live up to and try to fulfill that tremendous obligation." 100% correct. Since he is already in the federal prison system, with 30 years to serve, he'd be about 67 when first eligible for early release. He's more likely to be 70 or 72 before he gets early release from the feds. What value is there in extending his incarceration beyond that point? It would appear that DePape is seriously mentally ill. Does he need to be off the street and institutionalized? Without a doubt! Keep him in a secure mental health facility and treat him. Ala John Hinckley. His lawyers did nothing for him and he is grossly overcharged. Both state and federal charges? Ridiculous! End of Earth: 2 Miles Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should |
I'd be more worried at this point when the Menendez brothers get released, like it now appears is likely to happen. There's already talk of how much they will be able to sell their story for and other income producing opportunities. I don't have a lot of sympathy for Pelosi's attacker but there are undoubtedly many in California that have done worse and have much less punishment. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.
