I am sorry for your loss!

They don’t make them like that anymore! It sounds like she was tremendously resilient.

Dementia sucks! We had to put my Dad in assisted living due to dementia 4 years ago. I am thankful that currently he doesn’t seem to be suffering.

Q, I am truly sorry for your loss. My mother passed away when I was 10, and that really affected the rest of my life. It sounds like your mother was a wonderful inspiration for your entire family. I pray that your mothers spirit lives on in all of your family members.

I've been reflecting on this thread for a bit before posting. From what you've described of your mother it seems her strength of character is reflected in her son. God bless her and you.

Q, I’m so sorry to hear about your Mother. What an incredible lady! You should be proud!

Know that she is at peace, and stay close to your Father. He’ll be feeling the loss. My Mother passed three weeks after her and my Dad’s 65th anniversary. That was three years ago and he’ll never get totally over it.
