What a blessing to have the privilege to be married that long.
Just think of the events she witnessed and the inventions.
My sincere condolances for your loss of Ma

Sorry to hear, Q. I enjoyed everyone's story in the longest marriage thread. Sure sounds like she lived a full life, though, and in that there should be comfort.

A very touching story. I once heard it’s not if but when our health fails it ends our journey here. She truly was remarkable, prayers sent.

Beautiful tribute to a loving mother. This is the way it should be.

You and your family have my deepest condolences. I'm sure the Good Lord has wonderful plans for such a special person.

My ma raised 8 of us (7 boys). I've lost a couple brother's, but the sting is deeper when the loss is your mother. Hang in there.

Condolences, sounds like the world has lost a shining example for others. Peace to you and your family.

Hospice was instrumental in helping with the passing of my Mother, it was truly comforting. I pray that your experience was as positive. May you and your family experience peace and absolution in this time of grief.
