I rarely drink them (Cokes, all pop/soda is a Coke where I’m from) anymore, but when I do I’m in the real sugar camp. If I’m gonna do it I want the full octane.

Every time we go back home we’ll grab a couple cases of H-E-B pure cane cola and put them in the basement as a treat. Those couple cases usually last us several months.

If for some reason I’m drinking a HFCS coke it’s most likely RC Cola.

Cheerwine

But at work, since I’m far from cheerwine territory in Utah, i mix 70/30 diet dr pepper and Coke Zero.

So you can never just say “Coke” when you want an actual Coke (Coca Cola)?

Around here if you ask for a Coke, you always get a Coca Cola, unless they only carry Pepsi which you usually hear “Pepsi OK?”

My wife and I joke that Pepsi should just change the official name to Pepsi OK?

It was Cheerwine for me until it started getting bland and over carbonated with the plastic bottles and HFCS. Frown

Not much of a soda drinker, Diet Pepsi and Mugs Root Beer are the two I keep in the House. We do have regular Coke for friends and I would have Sarsaparilla if I could find it locally.

I prefer Diet Pepsi but most restaurants serve Diet Coke - close enough. I do skip both for Culvers Diet Root Beer.

Club soda by the gallon.

On rare occasion, when the opportunity presents itself, one sip of cold root beer is very satiating, but I've never been big on sugary drinks so an entire can/bottle is too much for me.

Yeah, in Texas, the generic term for a soda is "coke", not pop, soda, etc.

Royal Crown (RC) Cola for me please.

I've also been known to get an occasional Peach Fanta at Wendys.

I rarely drink soda, but every once in a while, I like a good root beer. I usually look for a small local/regional brand when we're on a trip somewhere.
