I rarely drink them anymore; neither are good for you (sugar or artificial sweetener). If I do, it's a root beer or Dr. Pepper. I would simply rather have a nice ale beer or glass of wine.

Diet Coke
Diet Dr Pepper
Diet Sunkist

Usually have all three in the fridge. I'll drink Diet Pepsi or the diet versions of most others. My parents drank diet soda when I was growing up and I've just never had a taste for the regular stuff. Too syrupy for me.

I really like some of the combinations from the Coke Freestyle machines (Diet Cherry Coke, Diet Raspberry Sprite, etc.)

On the very rare occasions I drink soda, it would be Coke or Dr. Pepper.

I also have a soft spot for really good lemonade. The individually squeezed, then shaken with ice, sugar, and water, from the cart on Boston Common, on a hot day in August is the best stuff on earth.

Coke Zero at home. Regular Coke when dining out.
And I have cut way back on both.

Dr. Pepper. But the last time I had a soda was so many years ago I can't remember.

Vanilla Coke when available, but will settle for Pepsi otherwise.

At home it's usually Schweppes Ginger Ale, but can get by with Canada Dry Ginger Ale

My dentist told me, at least as far as he was concerned, beer was better for me than soda... kinda surprised me, but I was raised in a dry household that drank 3 or 4 cases of soda a week.

A Perpetual Disappointment...

If I'm going to drink one I find one made with real sugar (not that high fructose junk). Around here we can get sodas from Mexico with real sugar (Coke, Pepsi, Big Red) and Dr Pepper offers one made with sugar. I tend to get Pepsi and Big Red when I can find it.

If you're ever in Lockhart Texas, go to Black's BBQ and get their food with a Big Red soda.
