And the same amount devoted to trashing him. The rest is garbage plus Hollywood filth. The bottom line for them is MONEY. They don’t side with any one Party. They are smart, attracting everyone.

Btw, you added the rest, after I replied initially.

Added: Don’t get me wrong, I use them often to post news articles, because they often break the news before other outlets. But they are not immune to criticism.

We get people getting hit on the highways here all the time.

In the areas with third world invaders that are used to just wandering across roads back home in their third world shithole.

There's a video out that purports to be of the incident which looks to be an infrared security camera. If it is real, the guy was strolling across the runway. He wasn't running to get out of the way and he wasn't standing still waiting to get hit. Just walking.

Looks to be some kind of mental illness situation, or so high on something that he had no idea where he was.

Cell phone video of passengers evacuating down the slide show several coming out with luggage! I am all for the FAA determining who they are and banning them for life from flying on commercial airlines. There have been cases where passengers have burned to death when the escape route was blocked by someone with luggage.

(One of our flights was prepping for an emergency landing with the possibility of an evacuation. The lead flight attendant did the passenger briefing and added in his own "Leave everything behind. If there is something you must bring with you, please wait for everyone else to get out before you, so that the only person you kill is yourself". The recording of that was played in recurrent training to great applause from flight crew.)

Just saw someone on Fox Business say the same thing, the FAA needs to look at those videos and hand out lifetime bans to anyone carrying or retrieving their carryon bags. Maybe I am a nerd but I have always kept the important stuff like passports and papers on my person and stored my miscellaneous junk in my carryon.

I was living near SFO when Asiana 214 crashed at SFO in 2013...amongst the dramatic footage that came out of that incident was the various passengers insisting on grabbing their luggage resulting in all sorts of havoc. An incredible sequence of events of a plane who's landing gear strikes the sea wall, resulting in it doing a partial pirouette on its wing down the runway, slamming down while breaking apart, and then a fire erupts which eventually consumes it. After all that a number of passengers had to have their luggage down the emergency slide. Frown

I hope the courts protect the airport and airline from any slimy lawsuits. The dude was mental and played Frogger with a A321. He lost. Why doesn't the airline sue his family? The airlines gonna be down $20M will all is said done with a new engine and perks to all the delayed travelers.

Not a huge surprise but the medical examiner ruled it a suicide. Jumped the fence at 11:13pm airplane hit him at 11:15pm. Live news conference just wrapped up.

That was addressed on page 1 of the thread...
But it would be his estate, not his family.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

ETA: A witless way to commit suicide. He could’ve been badly maimed rather than killed.

Juan Browne, Blancolirio, posted his assessment on Youtube. The tone of his post was pissed off. He questions whether the call for evacuation came from the cockpit, the cabin attendants or the passengers and asks the FAA to investigate. According to the preliminary report, 3 large men activated a slide and jumped before it was inflated. That compromised the slide and rendered it useless. In addition, if the evacuation isn't sequenced, the remaining engine could have been spinning, not a good thing.
One hopes that the FAA will thoroughly investigate the evacuation and take the appropriate action.
As for the trespasser, airports are pretty well protected by fences. Denver is in the middle for nowhere so the trespasser had intent. Any threat from his estate to sue anyone should result in a countersuit to cover all costs and a bitch slap to the estate's legal team.

Let me help you out. Which way did you come in?

Passenger initiated evacuations do happen. One of our aircraft aborted a takeoff due to a compressor stall. The engine sounds like it backfires. They pull off the runway and tower says, "Hey, did you know you have passengers out on your wing?"!

There's a lot of training for pilots and flight attendants on sequencing emergency evacuations, and on the decision to stay or get out, and which exits to use. The only time a passenger should self-initiate an evac is if the crew is incapacitated and the cabin is immediately more hazardous than outside. Fire inside the cabin vs fire outside the cabin, for example.

People think they are experts, and have no respect for crew. They have no idea what all is involved in regular or emergency situations. They put on headphones and ignore safety announcements, then endanger everyone else when something happens.

If Frontier passengers opened doors and deployed slides, I want to see the FAA ban them for life along with those who brought bags with them.

Lots of things have never happened until outcomes have mandated change. I’m an airline pilot. Pre 9/11 we were taught to comply with terrorists. We never did it different till we did it different.

Passengers are the least qualified people in the airplane to determine how, when, or where to evacuate. A whiff of smoke in the cabin? These fucktards don’t seem to realize the air they are breathing is coming through the motors. I hit a bird guess what? You might smell chicken for a moment. Suck in a human and cause an engine fire, you will get some smoke and fumes until the pilots shut the engine down. That doesn’t dictate an evacuation necessarily.

If pax decided on their own to evacuate I don’t want them on my plane. They panicked. If that is what happened. I have heard no definitive answer to who initiated the evac.

What? They gave me a placard with a picture that says pull the red handle in an emergency and I agreed to do that to get the extra leg room.

Plane is on the ground and on fire? The handle is getting pulled and:

I’m joking of course.
