“There was horror onboard a Frontier Airlines flight bound for Los Angeles when it struck and killed a person walking on the runway at Denver International Airport on Friday night.
Smoke filled the cabin as the incident sparked an engine fire and those onboard evacuated the aircraft via the emergency slides as a precaution.
The pedestrian was at least partially consumed by one of the engines, an official confirmed to ABC News. …”
Yea, perfectly good airplane rolling down the runway, person walking on restricted runway, strikes airplane, airplane stops, engine fire, damaged engine intake and person nowhere to be found. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where the dumbass went.
Too bad Frontier can't take the dumbass to court for damage to the engine.

That location is far from public roads. One does not just scale a fence and stroll there in a couple of minutes. I expect this was intentional suicide. Or an extraordinarily stupid attempt to get video for social media, which amounts to the same thing.

Well they can... Fault, Liability, Damages: it's all there. But he probably doesn't have enough assets to bother so they won't.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

If only there were signs in 23 languages warning pedestrians of a potential danger of walking on runways Frontier wouldn't have to clean the plane's engine.

Your life is so messed up you want to end it but you want to mess other people's lives as part of it. That qualifies as being selfish to me. Just off yourself quietly somewhere quiet with an apology note for whoever finds you.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I can already hear the next Morgan & Morgan ad. “Our runways are littered with killing machines.”
