You'd never get mine in or on a triple decker! He's too accustom to having a little unrestricted real estate to snooze on.

The tabby in front a few hours after being diagnosed with terminal cancer, and was gone the next day. That was Feb '13

The calico in back is sitting on my lap right now as I'm typing.

Same thought I had, when I saw that. Especially poignant, for me, right now, as just yesterday my calendar reminded me it was this little guy's birthday

and he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge about a year ago, well before his time Frown

The memory is painful, particularly as he was about the sweetest little kitteh you could ever hope to know, but his birthday will stay in my calendar.

Never realized the impact on emotions a cat could have being a dog owner mostly, that is until my wife brought a little fella home to keep me company the last few years. They do have a special place in life for me now. I can understand how you feel at your loss..

We have always had cats, and all kept us company, in the past couple of years all our felines have passed away. The only cat left here now, is my tomcat and buddy, who is an outside cat and up in years.

But I know there will always be a cat around this place and me.

I've had a number of cats throughout the years and never understood the reputation they got as aloof and uncaring. Every cat I've ever had has had a huge personality and has been great company. I'm sure I'll have another one down the road.
