This is Elbereth. She is the most spoiled barn cat in the world. Last winter I started letting her in the house because it had been so cold and snowy. Guess who is now a permanent inside resident?

Agnes used to stick her tongue out and forget to bring it back in, especially if she was cleaning herself and something else caught her attention. You could walk up and poke it and she'd get this look like you were a wizard, she couldn't figure out how you managed to touch her tongue.

Another absent friend. This was Andy. The coolest cat I have ever owned. He talked. All the time. Him and I had some of the most serious conversations ever. As soon as I walked in the door he had to tell me all about his day. He never left my side and he never shut up. Miss you buddy.
