It was a very long flight. Not sure on the towels, we are heading for the beach shortly. The prayers are working for sure and I thank everyone for them. The view is great and as I remember it from way back in 1968. Geez, that was 48 years ago, that makes me feel old. We went to the circular stone outcrop the night before last night and one manta ray was present, about 4ft tip to tip. Then today while at the beach, we went for a dip and a sea turtle swam by on the surface mere feet in front of us. Pretty nice looking hole. Today is luau night here at the hotel. Mrs LBJ wants pork and papaya. I guess she has grown tired of sashimi. Tomorrow, we are doing the big island tour via helicopter. It's supposed to be a 2 hour ride. I guess the menu includes a trip to the volcano, see the lava flow hitting the ocean, see waterfalls that drop a thousand feet and the like. Cool.  The ride will start in about 4 hours. And yes, the hotel logo is the same, ie the orange petaled flower that looks like a paw print. Not much has changed in the last 48 years, the hotel is pretty much as I remember it.
