Cortez is asked if she has any second thoughts on the Amazon HQ to NYC issue. The deal that would have brought 25,000 jobs, each at 150k per year

Her response:

"Where does that 25,000 number come from ? Everyone always cites this number. And it is almost completely unsubstantiated.

And it almost feels like it only comes from Amazon"

video at:

https://news.yahoo.com/aoc-que...on-hq-194301870.html

https://hotair.com/archives/20...-calls-social-media/

Amazon has 613,300 workers worldwide with most of those (more than half a million) in the U.S. Amazon has doubled its staff in the past two years.

She's talking about "unsubstantiated claims???" Unbelievable.

Okay, bimbo - substantiate your claims about the world ending in 12 years. You first made that claim in January, so we're already 4 months into the 144 month period of time in which we're going to see the end of the earth as we know it. If you break down the devastation into 144 increments, have we experienced 4/144 worth of degradation? Will it take more like 10% of those 144 months to actually see any of the problems arising, and if so, what should we expect to see after 10 more months?

Please substantiate your claims about socialism. I'm going to need a lot of convincing since socialism has NEVER worked. NEVER, bimbo.

If there's anyone who should fear the use of the word "substantiate" or any of its variables, you're the one.

I found what you said riveting.

What the heck? I don't think I've ever heard the word animate used like that.
Nor do I know what she's trying to say there.

Cortez put out an animated clip.

It looks into the future and shows how she is the hero that changed the U.S.

"A message from the future with AOC"

from:

https://hotair.com/archives/20...een-new-deal-future/

We realized that the biggest obstacle to the kind of transformative change the Green New Deal envisions is overcoming the skepticism that humanity could ever pull off something at this scale and speed. That’s the message we’ve been hearing from the “serious” center for four months straight: that it’s too big, too ambitious, that our Twitter-addled brains are incapable of it, and that we are destined to just watch walruses fall to their deaths on Netflix until it’s too late.

and blah blah blah

You might notice white men are the villains

I don't think I've ever watched anything so incoherent, detached from reality, or dishonest as that video. To summarize the video...Government runs 'everything', white people are pushed out of the way once and for all, and a complete embrace of socialism saves the world and makes everyone's lives a utopia not seen outside of Hollywood movies. Huh, I guess the folks in Venezuela are just a few years ahead of us on this path. Roll Eyes

This woman is a moron of immeasurable proportion, but she's also incredibly dangerous given the number of fellow morons who buy into this nonsense.

Perhaps East Germany would be a better example.

They decided to merge with West Germany.

We were in the former East Germany only a few weeks after the wall went down. I spent a year in western Iran back in 1960, and can say from personal observation that there was not much difference between western Iran, or Iran in general, than East Germany.

What we saw in the newly freed east Germany fairly well matched what I saw in western Iran. Only in Iran the roads were better.
