That's good to know. I don't intend any depth or pressure, but I do get elbow-deep into the river, kayaking when I can during the summer.

My only 2 complaints on it. The phone App & watch UI are not the greatest. Watch can be slow to respond [all via the side pushers, not a touch screen], and the app doesn't really do much other than the sync & face customization.
#2, I don't care for the rubber band. Would prefer a bracelet, which is an option on the Gen 2 [and I think backward compatible with the Gen 1].

As apps go, I think my main interests are the notifications, particularly during the work week. On weekends, I'd probably go back to my usual watches. I think the sleep monitor would be a good thing (though I almost never wear a watch when I go to bed), and lately I've begun to think a step counter would be nice. I'd certainly nix the rubber band and put something else in its place. At two hundred bucks(-ish), it's not really an impulse purchase but it seems well worthy of consideration.

For all that, I think it's great.
On the Gen 1, you can set which apps alert to the watch, which I like. I'd expect the same on the Gen 2, esp if it's using the same Citizen Connected app.
Every once in a while, there's something like a 5-15 second delay between the phone alert & it passing to the watch, but not enough to be a bother.
Also great in the car, can just take a quick look at the watch for the alert rather than the phone.

Wow. There are some beautiful watches in this thread. Having just got into timepieces, I've started my journey with Hamilton.

For everyday wear, I bought a 38mm Field Khaki Mechanical. I like to Nato strap. This is one I could see wearing while doing anything from camping to going into the office or out on a service call. It's just a great casual watch.

For something a little nicer, I went with a 38mm Khaki Field Automatic. I like the dial and strap combination on this one. This is great for business casual or social calls, being out with friends.

I decided I wanted a nice dress watch. While far from being a luxury watch, the Jazzmaster Auto is perfect to wear with a suit or just to elevate one's evening attire to something a little more classy.

It would be nice to someday own a Rolex even if it's just an Oyster Perpetual. I'm not particularly intrigued by Tag or Mido or Omega or Longines (although Longines does have some watches that appeal to me). Honestly, if I never owned any other watches besides these three, they would serve me well for the remainder of my life.

You're not incorrect, sir.

Bonus: For less than the price of a Rolex or such, you got three great Hamiltons. Cool

God bless America.

I love the history of the company, as well. I had looked at Tissot, but I'm very happy I went with Hamilton.

FP2000H, those are all three great choices. I have quite a fondness of white dials and that one with the brown leather strap is quite nice.

I’m not sure if they all have the same strap size, but if they do, for the small investment of a spiring bar tool, you could drastically change the look of each, just by swapping straps and the bracelet.

The black dial with the bracelet would look pretty fantastic too. I’m very certain the white dial sharing the bracelet would be great also.

Congratulations on the three new timepieces. They are quite awesome.

Sad to report UPS has closed their investigation - whatever that entailed.

I've sent a certified letter to the President/CEO of UPS and Sangamon Watches has done the same but directed his to UPS's claims and loss investigation department.

Neither of us is holding out any hope.

Take Sangamon Watches to small claims court for the true value of the watch or have them replace it with an equal example.

There is no other solution other than a Silver Snoopy.

Hearing about the lost Speedy is heartbreaking. Hope it can somehow be found.

I just got my Seamaster back Saturday. It has been down since last fall and I only got around to having it serviced about 2 months ago. I chose a local jeweler/repair place instead of sending it to Omega this time to save a little money. Still cost $500 but they did assure me they use OEM parts. Anyways, it looks great and I realize how much I’ve missed it. Been rocking a GShock since Christmas which is fun but hard to elevate when dressing up. As this watch was given to me by my uncle's family after his passing, it is also irreplaceable to me, so knowing it was not being shipped around the world again was a great comfort.

While that would make him 'whole' It doesn't replace the sentimental value of the original loss.
Was holding out hope that it would turn up.

Lost Omega update:

First of all the USPS certified letter I sent to the president CEO of UPS was mailed last Wednesday. It was to have arrived at her office in Atlanta Georgia on Friday. Guess what? It still hasn’t been delivered and still shows in transit. Nothing is going right.

Now today I get an email from UPS. Despite the fact their app says investigation closed, the email says they’ve rescheduled delivery of my watch. Can it be true?

Or maybe UPS is teasing me:

What I don't understand is how can the last scan be on 4/17 but it is supposed to be "re-delivered" today.

Either way thank you all for your kind wishes!!!
