I don't understand you guys that don't like to clean guns. I find it relaxing, just like reloading and barbecuing.

I shot and cleaned a 20 Gauge Browning O/U and a .410 bore Browning O/U today and snorted the luscious smell of Hoppe's #9 for a while. Wink

Cleaning guns is the bane of my existence.
When I win the powerball, I'm hiring a full-time gun cleaning butler.

I deprimed and cleaned around 2500 9mm brass over the past week. I know a lot of you complain about the extra step it takes to deprime for wet tumbling, but to me it's worth it Wink. Also loaded 1250 115gr Zero's and 500 147gr Berry's. It was a good week Smile

I deprime for dry tumbling, too.

I finally finished processing all the brass we shot up over the weekend. Now I need to get some loaded before the coming weekend...

Picked up 8 pounds of H335, and 4 pounds of 748 today from the LGS. They had 8 pounders of Varget too. If pistol powder starts showing up it may actually feel normal again.

Are they willing to ship the Varget? I could use an 8 pounder...

One of my FB friends asked me the same thing a couple months ago. I asked, the owner said no he won't ship reloading stuff. Just guns. Sorry buddy!

Picked up 200 brand new Mactech .45 Colt cases and got 70 finished rounds as a bonus since the guy no longer owned a gun in that caliber.

These rounds are hand loaded and no specification about what powder and how much followed, so I think it's best I pull them, a shame, but hey, 70 primed cases for free!

A friend of mine recently went to Minnesota to see a doctor and found 1 pound of Unique there.

He stuck it in his checked baggage and brought it back to Pheoenix, then called me and asked what he could do with it as he's a new reloader.

When I got through laughing and telling him he was lucky he didn't get caught, I offered to take the powder for proper disposal, but he wasn't buying my story. Wink

^^^^ Dammit man. I thought I had checked every place in MN for Unique and then you out of towners cross our borders and buy it all up. Razz

I can't remember the last time I've seen Unique in the stores.

Your buddy must have had a golden horseshoe up his ass to get away with a pound of Unique in his luggage.

Reloaded ~250 9mm. Stainless tumbler 4-500 pieces of Lake city for 223.

Grilling now, then probably do some more 9. We've been shooting a crap ton of it since I picked up 2 226s in the past month or so. Lol

Loaded up 250 9mm today to replace the ammo I'll shot at a Points match tomorrow.

Down to my last 1lb and a half of Unique. I hope I can score some pretty soon.

Loaded 77 fusion 223 bullets in nickel cases. Was able to replace 2 boxes of inferior ammo in my SHTF locker (which means now I get to burn it up on the range) and load some mags too.

Shot up a bunch of 223, 9, and 45. Would have shot up a bunch of 308 as well, but I forget my rifle range bag, so I didn't have my bipod or rear bags.

223 is in the stainless tumbler right now. That was the tail end of the 2x fired batch. When it comes out, it's time to size it, along with the 4-500 from last weekend's session, add it to the other processed 3x stuff, and load it up.

I've been in a revolver kinda mood and have been target shooting with my 44s. Running low on H110 and haven't seen any so decided to work up a light load with Unique and some Xtreme plated bullets in 200 grain and 240 grain. Last weekend, I tried a starting load for lead bullets in 44 mag and found my revolvers didn't like them. Any. At all. The bullets were keyholing. So, this weekend, I tried loading to the top of 44 special for lead. My revolvers like that. A lot. So, I'm going to try a bit hotter and have loaded up 24 rounds of each weight to try out next weekend, if all goes well. Plan is to shoot from a bench over a chronograph to see what I have and check accuracy. The loads shot today are very pleasant to shoot, even from my SBH w/ 4-5/8" barrel.

And, I picked up a Dillon 650 a few months ago set up for 223. I've loaded a few to make sure it works and allow me to get used to it. Spent part of the day setting it up for 357 Sig and will finish up by loading a few hundred.

On a side note, a friend was over and took a look at my 650. He liked it well enough to pick one up for himself. He has a Lyman turret press. I placed the order for him, ordering all the bells and whistles for 9mm, 223, 6.5 Grendel, 300 AAC, and 50 Beowulf. It all came in yesterday and I suspect it won't be long before I'm over there helping him to set everything up.

Got back from a tac med course this weekend. Didn't shoot anywhere near as much as I expected, so I made up for it today by shooting 800 rounds through a recently acquired Hi Point carbine. Also ran 300 rounds through my S&W 642. Just finished cleaning them both, tumbling now.

Late last night I got bored so I replaced a couple of my old Dillon toolhead's larger sized lock rings to the Dillon standard 1" rings. PITA, but now it's done.

Also found an old set of 45acp Redding carbide dies last week. Put them up for sale in the classifieds, but if anyone wants to trade me some 380acp dies, I'd be all over it. Smile
