Completely agree. Additionally having a woman who wants to look like a man tell James Bond to FOAD because she'll kick his ass if he doesn't do what she says really doesn't make me want to spend any of my time or money on any Bond movie where she is the main character - if that's what the Bond producers are looking at doing. Critical Drinker's youtube reviews of the most recent "Charlie's Angels" movie, "Captain Marvel", and the lesbian bat... thing, hit the nails on the heads when he points out the constant and overdone "women are better than men in everything" bullshit, and that it's off-putting to a large part of the audience that goes to movies - namely, men. I'll give this Bond a watch but am curious to see if Butch "Thinks She's Badass" Wokescold is the primary character in any future iterations of the series.

Something else that comes to mind about Bond and the 00s is that in all other Bond movies there was a strong camaraderie between them all. It was more that just collegiality or friendliness, rather it seemed to me that the ties were more like those of men who survive combat together. In movies where a 00 agent was killed, we see a flash of anger mixed with sorrow cross his face that one of their small group has been killed. In at least one (Golden Eye) two 00s are working together on a mission and although there is some competitiveness between them during the operation, the film also shows a bond (no pun intended) where either will do anything to help the other. In every case I can remember of a 00 being killed, James' focus is to avenge his colleague with the accomplishment of the mission being icing on the cake, and the audience is with him in every regard. In this new Bond film, at least from the trailers, all we see is antagonism, arrogance, and bitchiness, from the female 00. Really good elements to introduce into any organization, especially one that is small and ultra-elite. I'm pretty sure I know how the relationship between Mz. Poli "Affirmative Action" Correctness is going to play out - she either saves Bond's life and is arrogant and superior about it, or they complete the mission together and she's arrogant and superior about it. In both cases, though, her ending arrogance and superiority is done in a friendly (but not really) passive-aggressive way. With new 00 girl, I couldn't care less if she were killed in the opening credits and Bond went to the beach and sipped Mai Tais. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope I am, and would be pleasantly surprised if I were. But from what I've seen of the trailer it's a formula that has been done before and, in my opinion, not to the betterment of the film or series.

I really enjoy the Daniel Craig Bond movies, Casino Royale being my favorite Bond film, so I will no doubt eventually see this movie. I will not, however, take any interest whatsoever in seeing this woman in her own standalone"Bond" movie. Early reviews are in… Unless someone convinces me differently, I think I’ll skip this one and consider Spectre to be the finale. I’m going to choose to believe that Bond and Madeleine Swann live happily ever after in his retirement. ___________________________ All it takes...is all you got. ____________________________ For those who have fought for it, Freedom has a flavor the protected will never know ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

Trailer has not piqued my interest....appears to be like all the rest Bond films. As far as a female Bond, what did you expect? _____________________________ "The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living." I've read shitty reviews, and good reviews, and watched a pile of trailers, regardless, just like the rest, I'll go to the theater, plop down, and watch it, then likely buy the DVD https://chandlersfirearms.com/chesterfield-armament/

I've enjoyed the Craig Bond movies, so will probably catch this one, but not likely I'll see it in the theater. The Enemy's gate is down.

This is not a spoiler thread so I will not give anything specific away. I understand how the “007“ designation is not necessarily one person, but more of a title. The fact that a woman now has it, makes me think the next evolution will be a female James Bond. We already have plenty of those, Nikita, salt, Jane Smith, those three just off the top of my mind. I think they tried way too hard to connect all of the prior movies, it was a bit far fetched, even for Bond. I’m a huge fan of the other Craig Bond films; I will watch it in the theater, but I don’t see myself experiencing the fun and excitement I’ve gotten from the other films. Even without reading the spoilers, Internet headlines have given enough plot points always that it is impossible to not know how this has to end. Every future Bond will be compared to Daniel Craig. The pressure on that actor and the studio for that matter, will be immeasurable. ___________________________ All it takes...is all you got. ____________________________ For those who have fought for it, Freedom has a flavor the protected will never know ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

Can’t we accuse all these wokesters demanding non-white, hetero, male Bond of cultural appropriation? "You know, Scotland has its own martial arts. Yeah, it's called Fuck You. It's mostly just head butting and then kicking people when they're on the ground." - Charlie MacKenzie (Mike Myers in "So I Married an Axe Murderer")

Having a black female replace Bond is like having a white woman replace the black actor in SHAFT! It is not a black/white thing at all. It is just absurdly piss poor decision making for the sake of saying "Look at how very, very woke we are...Jeeeze when will this end.

It's not just the Bond films. Every cop show on TV now has a prominent female LEO who can kick butt with the best of the men. i've no doubt that such women exist, but not as many as are seen in the shows. And homosexuality (Lesbianism) is also very frequent. flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth

It sounds like they spent the last year it has been "Delayed" doing reshoots. Good for them. I am actually looking forward to seeing it now. Nobody wanted to see the movie as portrayed in the very first trailers.

Tom Hardy is the first one to come to mind. He could pull it off and be a great successor to Craig.
